We caught alot of rockfish. The sculpin was rad. My wife enjoyedwawtching the dolphins swim thru. Will book again.

To say this trip was awesome is an understatement. Not only did we all catch fish but Captain Shaun made sure we all had a good time. First go I had a California Yellowtail on the hook and into the boat. My bro also had a Yellowtail on in no time. 3 of us went and we all had insane fish interaction. After awesome 10 minute fights each (and then some) we decided to try some rock fishing, which was a blast! Definitely nothing like it though when one of those California Yellowtails start pulling out your line! If we could redo the day and live it again we would in a heart beat. An amazing trip is now a lifelong memory. Thanks Capt Shaun, you kick ass!
We had an amazing fishing charter experience in San Diego with Captain Shaun! From start to finish, he was incredibly family friendly, making sure everyone felt comfortable and had a great time, especially with our 12 year old. Captain Shaun is extremely knowledgeable about the area and knows exactly where to go to catch fish. Not only did we have success out on the water, but he also took the time to teach us new fishing techniques, which made the experience even more fun and memorable. He’s both professional and outgoing, creating the perfect balance of a relaxed, enjoyable trip while still running things smoothly and safely. Went with my 70 year old dad, sister, 10 year old nephew, and 11 year old daughter. captian Saun was amazing with all of us from the oldest to the youngest. I would recommend him to anyone of any age. He took time helping my duaghter and nephew when they had questions or needed help. He moved us to several spots and stayed on the fish our entire trip.
My sons and I had an absolute blast fishing with Captain Shaun with Pelican Sportfishing! We booked a 5 hour trip and caught a ton of fish, plenty for a delicious ceviche and fish taco dinner that same night! This was our first time fishing and Captain Shaun was extremely patient and taught us so much about the process and the fish we were catching and made the whole experience comfortable and exciting. I can’t recommend booking with Captain Shaun and Pelican Sportfishing enough!
I took my teenagers out with Shaun and the kids all agreed it was one of their favorite trips, and said it was their favorite captain. Spent the morning fishing for rockfish and sheepshead, i think we caught 12 species, everyone was stoked. Shaun was more than down when we asked if we could do some trolling, and we caught some beautiful bonitas, all in less than 5 hours. Dude definetely knows what he is doing. I just wish every trip could be this good, thanks again Cap!
