Yancy had us on fish even on lower water and late season. He was helpful with one of the clients pretty new to fishing as well. I will book with him again next trip out here.

My son and I recently embarked on a fishing trip down the Rogue River, and it was an unforgettable experience. While the fish weren't biting as much as we had hoped, the overall adventure was top-notch. Our guide, Yansey, was simply fantastic. He was knowledgeable, patient, and truly made the trip enjoyable. His expertise and insights into the river's nuances were invaluable. Despite the limited catch, the scenery was breathtaking, and the float down the river was peaceful and relaxing. We encountered stunning birds of prey, enjoyed the fresh air, and caught some wild steelhead. We saw huge salmon in the waters as well as created lasting memories. If you're looking for a beautiful and serene fishing trip, I highly recommend this guide and trip.
This was a great trip! My dad and I booked the trip for our first time salmon fishing on the Rogue River and Yancey did an incredible job. He’s extremely personable and willing to do whatever it takes to safely put you in position to catch a fish, and we caught an incredible one! I highly recommend booking Osprey’s Catch if you are a beginner fisher looking to learn a few techniques and for more advanced fisherman if you want Yancey to expertly navigate you down the Rogue River for a day! We’ll be booking again and had a great day fishing and talking with Yancey.

We had so much fun. Got some good video of the huge salmon that was in the river. Yancey was extremely accommodating and made our trip down the river truly memorable. We will definitely be back to have him take us back down the river!
