we booked the flounder gigging trip, however the weather was hot, windy and water was warm. They contacted me to let me know these were not good conditions for gigging and offered a substitute fishing trip, which i really appreciated. We spent 4 hours in the bay. Fishing was a little slow but caught at 3+ pound sea trout and a red fish to keep for dinner and a variety of throw backs including a few catfish, a small shark, ray, and blue crab. Preston was patient, friendly and on top of keeping our lines ready to fish! He moved us to different spots, doing his best to put us on the fish. My kids and I had a blast. It was a great experience!
I can really say 10/10 for sure. Captain Johnson was very knowledgeable and professional. The boat was very clean and well kept. Every spot we fished the fish were there. I caught my first tournament worthy trout today and it was definitely memorable. I will definitely be back to hit the water with Captain Johnson very soon. You will not leave empty handed, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
