  i had wanted to take my son Lake Michigan fishing for years. I scheduled a trip with Chris, the boat captain, on the boat High Life. We got 9 coho in the boat, lost 5 along the way. ended up with over 18lbs. of fish. Billy was assisting Chris with guidance for boat positioning and insights. Chris and Billy changed up lures several times. But the best part was watching my son reel in his first fish out of Lake Michigan. The memories made that day will last a lifetime. Thank you again. My son is getting ready to schedule a July King Salmon fishing outing. We will DEFINITELY go thru Chris and his boat. High Life.

  May 16, 2026, we arrived at the wrong spot and Capt. Chris quickly got us where we needed to be. The boat was ready to go and we left the dock 30 minutes early. After about 15 minutes the gear was out and started catching fish. Caught our 20 fish limit of cohos in 3 1/2 hours. We were blessed with amazing weather and steady action. This trip could not have been better. Thank you Capt Chris and Billy for a perfect day. The fish taste great.

  Great trip with a great captain and first mate

  Captain Rugg and first mate Bill made sure we had a great time and we caught several fish despite the foggy morning. Would definitely book again!

  One of the best fishing trips I’ve ever had! Captain Chris was very professional and easy to work with. He knew exactly where to find the fish and made the entire 6-hour trip enjoyable. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  Our capt was amazing very knowledgeable and found fish fast when others were reporting no fish at all. Got the first one in minutes of putting line in the water, will definitely go with Capt Chris again!!!!
