Booked a trip with Captain Matt for a group of 5 of us, and it absolutely exceeded expectations. The energy and vibes on the boat were awesome from start to finish—Matt knows exactly how to keep things fun, relaxed, and engaging for everyone. The highlight of the day was definitely bringing in two sharks, including one massive 4-footer that gave an incredible fight. Captain Matt was amazing, he took us to great spots where we catch two large red drums, two croackers, one pig fish and even one SHARK!! we came to celebrare our son 9th birthday and he had a blast he is nonstop talking about his fishing trip and how amazing it was, we super recommend this trip with captain Matt!

We had a great time on our first salt water fishing trip. My 11 year old and 8 year old had a blast while Captain Matt did a great job finding us fish on an admittedly unusual day. The highlight was my 11 year old getting the chance to catch a shark! We would definitely recommend this charter!!

It was a hard day for fishing in the rivers. We caught one little red fish. I have to say though, I didn't see ANYONE catching anything out there at all. So Capt. Matt took us to do some shark fishing and my boys had a blast. Capt Matt when above and beyond his obligation for time to ensure all three of my boys were able to put a shark (or a huge sting ray) in the boat. thanks again Capt Matt. The boys are still talking about the trip!

Booked a 1/2 day trip with Matt. I cannot say enough good things about Matt and his teenage son. Very knowledgeable when it came to locations and bait selection to target the fish. The very first cast of the day we had a red fish boated and that set the tone for the morning. Spent the second part of the trip targeting sharks. Nothing beats the sound of a fishing rod spittin’ drag and we heard it five times with five sharks caught. Whether you are a seasoned angler or a first-timer, Matt is the guide you want if you are chasing an unforgettable day on the water. My sons will be back in Charleston in a few months and will be calling Matt for round two!
