  No bananas!!

  Captain David was great. The conditions weren’t great, water was muddy from the day before, so he took us a lot further east to better water. We caught our limit and loved our time with David. I especially appreciated his communication before our trip. David took care of everything! As he was putting the gear away before we headed back I commented that the banana i had earlier didn’t sit well with the swells we had. That’s when he told us that bananas on boats are bad luck, a superstition that has persisted for centuries. he said some captains say “no bananas” on their forbidden stuff to bring onboard. Well we had great luck on the fish and no mishaps even though I brought bananas onboard. My advice though is to leave your bananas behind! 🤣

  We had an amazing time on our fishing charter! We took our son out for his 10th birthday, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. Captain Dave was so nice and incredibly helpful with our two kids—he made them feel comfortable, excited, and involved the whole time. Everything was well-organized, the boat was clean, and safety was clearly a priority. Best of all, we were catching fish and having fun the entire trip! This was such a special way to celebrate, and we made memories we’ll never forget. Highly recommend

  I have fished all over the U.S. with various charters booked through Fishingbooker.com. I have had some really great trips but really, none have compared to the day on the water with Captain Dave! The gear was in great shape, rods and reels were well balanced, and the conversation was great! HOWEVER, the conversation was likites because every other phrase was, “Oh! There’s one! Fish on!”. We were on fish within 20 minutes of leaving the harbor and it didn’t stop. All around, a REALLY GREAT day!!

  Fantastic Captain!!!

  Had a great time on the lake! My 12 year old son, my brother and his son fished!! Captain David was awesome!!! Very knowledgeable with fantastic equipment. We are experienced fishermen, and Captain David taught us lots along the way! a great way to end our summer!! Thanks again BlackH2odog charters and Captain David!!!!

  Captain David got us on Walleye within the first fifteen minutes. He was excellent in organizing everything. Our largest Walleye measured twenty-seven inches. We had great memories while achieving or limit. We will plan a return trip with Captain David and would recommend this Charter for a Walleye adventure.
