Man is 100% dedicated and determined to catching fish. He went above and beyond to ensure we filled our limit of targeted species. He was on time and ready to fish, had bait, boat and poles ready. If we make it back down to this area in the future, we will book Man again.

    fun time on the water!!

    captain man makes this trip so enjoyable! he is full of laughs and good times. we booked pretty last minute (in the afternoon) and although we did not catch any fish, it was still an amazing time. captain man tried many different things to get us some fish, which we really appreciated. it was our first time fishing on the ocean, my partner and i learned so much! we cant wait to go out again with capt man!!

    No fish but lots of laughs!

    This is our second year w/ Captain Mann and will Def not be our last. Although we didn't catch any fish, we did have an enjoyable day with him as usual. He tried his best to take us to all the spots to get some fish, they were just not hungry! (None of the other charters that day had any luck either). We appreciated him giving us extra time to try and also helping us have a lots of laughs regardless. Would recommend him to all!

    always enjoy our trip with fat boy charters. caught our limit of redfish, and always appreciate the bag of freshly cleaned fish at the end. great captain, does well with non-expert fishermen. trip can be adjusted for all ades and experience levels. he’ll call and confirm before, but be aware cell service on the cape is sketchy

    Slow fishing - still a great experience

    A bit slow fishing this afternoon but we managed still 7 different species in the boat - and Captain Harold "Man" Mathes went above and beyond to give us a great experience. We spotted sea turtles, dolphins, a huge school of cownose rays, a couple eagle rays, stingrays and a bald eagle.

    Harold put us on fish from the time we got to the first spot until we left. We caight trout, red fish and flounder. Also, everyone on the boat hooked up with trophy size red fish and were broken off. Harold knows the waters and the spots. Def would book again.
