We went shark fishing, got some bites but didnt get anything in the boat. Enjoyed just being out on the boat hearing some great stories. Captain and Crew were great. They threw out a net and trolled to get bait and it was cool just seeing what all kind of diferent fish and aquatic life was pulled in. they let us help pull the net in.
We had an awesome shark fishing trip this morning! The captain and mate were both fantastic and did an incredible job with the four kids we had on board. They were extremely patient, took the time to teach the kids about everything we caught in the bait net, and explained all about the sharks we were targeting and catching throughout the trip. They made the entire experience fun, educational, and engaging for everyone. We caught our limit of dog sharks and then landed two big blacktip sharks, including one that we were able to keep. Overall, it was a great time and a great end of summer experience for the kids before going back to school. Highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a fun and family-friendly fishing experience!
We did the 12pm trip and it was a ton of fun. You could tell the Captain and Crew really want you to catch fish. They aren’t just taking out groups, they are trying to create a fun experience. Their goal the entire trip was to make sure we caught fish. We understood the risk, but still you could tell they didn’t want us leaving if we didn’t catch anything. We ended up catching two and one was massive that gave my son an awesome story and pictures to be able to share with with friends and talk a little smack to his older brother that caught a smaller one. The crew was just as excited to see it and it made it an overall great experience. Highly recommend this trip especially if you don’t fish normally. They are understand that it’s an adventure even if it’s the only time you’ll ever do it!
Was a little worried about the weather and seas but Captain Dave and Riley handled the boat with ease. After catching bait, we hooked into a 5ft Spinner Shark. My son and I had a great fight with it and he was thrilled it was bigger than he was. These guys know what they’re doing and are very knowledgeable about the area. No one got sick. We caught a trophy shark and even went home with a couple pounds of shrimp we salvaged from the bait net. We’ll definitely be chartering with Killin Time again!
Our group (4 adults and 2 kids age 4 and 7) had a wonderful time. Catching bait was definitely a highlight of our trip, we may not of got exactly what the crew wanted in our net but it was cool to see jelly fish, tounge and moon fish, flounder, blue and spider crabs, skates, squid and so many shrimp. We caught 3 shark and some spanish mackerel on our 4 hour tour. Captain Dave also took us around to watch dolphins which the kids enjoyed. Thanks Captin Dave and Riley for great trip
We had a group of 6 people. 2 male adults, a female adult and 3 kids 8 (m), 10 (m) and 15 (f). Had a wonderful time! The captain and crew were really nice and knowledgeable and shared lots of fun facts. Lots of cool and neat experiences. We caught a 5-6 foot black tip shark which took multiple people nearly 20 minutes to reel in. We also caught shrimp, a squid, crabs, a stingray and some other creatures. All in all, we had a great time and would do this again.
