Family friendly, grateful trip.

We had an incredible trip from start to finish. The boat was clean, comfortable, and the A/C blew ice cold, which made a huge difference with four kids on board. The crew was outstanding—friendly, patient, and great with the kids. They worked hard to make sure everyone had a great time and kept us on fish all day. If you're looking for a family-friendly charter with a professional crew and a comfortable boat, I can't recommend this one enough. We'll definitely be back!

    We've been on multiple different fishing trips over the years. This was by far the best. Captain James and Darren couldn't have been friendlier, more knowledgeable, or more helpful. The boat is big and comfortable. Even had AC for a quick cooldown after being in the hot sun. The Mahi Mahi weren't biting (none of the boats out there were catching fish), but, no worries, they had a backup plan for Yellowtail. I would absolutely recommend the Eva Marie!

    Captain James is the real deal — deep local knowledge, years of experience, and a true professional. Our goal was to get my son his first mahi and my father-in-law his first real ocean fish, and Cap'n James and his mate Darren delivered on both. The boat was clean and well outfitted, and the AC'd cabin was a godsend with the August heat bearing down. Five-plus stars for how the Captain and mate took care of my 82-year-old father-in-law and my 7-year-old son. Couldn't have asked for a better day on the water. This will be the boat I book and recommend to anyone coming to Key West.

    Top notch Key West family fishing trip!

    A wonderful day fishing with my family of four. we did the 5 hour trip and caught multiple Mahi Mahi and Bonita fish. We also had a 7-8 foot sail fish on the line but were unable to bring it in. Right at the end we caught a Barracuda! My 13 year old was estatic. Captain James and Darren were exceptional. They were flexible and allowed us to help on the boat while teaching us why we were doing the tasks. They made it clear we did not have to help, but my family likes to pitch in! They also cleaned the fish and recommended the best spots to have our fish cooled locally. I would 100% recommend the Eva Marie to anyone and everyone wanting ro fish in Key West.

    safe/professional/lots of fish! we highly recommend them ! thank you captain James (full of key west knowledge and history) ! we caught wahoo,mahi, and baracuda. The first fish we caught was a (STUD) wahoo ! Daryn (THE first mate from South Africa ) fillet it for us and we took it to the Hot Tin Roof Restaurant. They prepare it and cooked it perfectly... Thank you Eva Marie! One last detail .. you might get the pleasure of a v22 osprey flying over you as you fish, and captain james can fill you in on all of that, and all the cool things he has seen over the past 43 years of fishing in key west !

    Great crew and equipment for big fish deep sea fishing

    We got yellow jack, snapper. We liked the experience the captain and first mate had, combined over 50 years. They gave us some history of the area during our cruise past the reef. They were very compassionate, we had a few that were getting a little green. But in the end we pushed through and headed home with good fish to eat. . Another reason I choice the Eva Marie because it was a larger vessel with an enclosed cabin with AC for the kids. I recommend this crew and boat!! When I come back I will be on the Eva Marie again.
