4 buddies booked the trip. it was a lot of fun. never been on a big lake nr had we done a fishing charter. Captain stanley was very knowledgeable and fun to hang out with for the day. caught a couple nice perch, few lake trout and a brown trout.
Booked a half day for my son, 12 year old grandson, and myself. Asked to try for lake trout, be sure my grandson caught some fish, learn about trolling, jigging, and the tech, and catch some perch if possible. Captain Stan delivered on all, patient and efficient, and explained all in detail. And was great with the 12 year old. We caught 4 nice lake trout trolling, including a 33 inch fat lunker. And we caught a delicious bag of perch jigging. A life experience for the 12 year old. Smoking the trout filets, and enjoying the salted Cayuga caviar with a martini.

Stan was a most pleasant personality. Explained to those of my crew who have not fished much what to do, answered our questions and provided all the needed help with booking up bait when I was wimpy in the early morning cold air to get my hands wet to grab a minnow. Started with perch cause that’s what was hitting, but showed us how to troll for the Lake trout for an hour and we landed one whopper which our new fisherman in the group got to crank in. Would recommend him to anyone. He obviously does this cause he loves it and to get buy. He’s not out to price gouge anyone.
What a fantastic day on Cayuga Lake! The kids absolutely loved the experience from start to finish — the captain was wonderful with them and made sure everyone had a great time out on the water. Highly recommend, especially for families!
My family had lots of fun with Cpt Stanley. We caught lots of lake trout and a few salmon and rainbow trout. Cpt Stanley showed us several fishing techniques and let us choose what we wanted to use. He worked hard to ensure we were having a good time and catching fish. This trip is good for kids big and small. We would recommend and will look forward to fishing with Cpt Stanley again.
the two of us had our limit of lake trout in around a hour and half we decided to fish for perch on the way we caught a rainbow trout. we probably had 100 perch in the boat we ended up keeping 26
