Fishermen were two adults and two boys… Captain was very good. Scenery was beautiful. A good time was had by all.
we did the early morning trip cst and crabing at 4:45am. thank god we ended up leaving at 6 am. sadly no catch during the fishing part, but we loaded upon crab!! a bussel in an about an hour and a half with about more then 60 throaw away which was fine with us! captain todd was welcomign and fun and well worth what we paid for. were from jersey too.
My 15-year-old says its the “best charter yet” despite the fact that his mom was pretty darn cold. 😂 (Just kidding about the cold mom thing. Just needed to wear another layer!) The Captain was extremely well-prepared with all different rods, reels, baits and lures. He knew exactly where to go for each type of fish. Clean and organized boat and a very excited teenager made for a great day! (All catch and release)
We had a fantastic trip catching multiple species including striped bass, channel catfish, and croaker! Swim baits were the winning lure, but we also caught fish on topwater plugs and cut bait. The crew adapted well to the bite and were treated with an amazing day in Tangier Sound. I look forward to our next trip!
Fantastic trip with Captain Todd! We were on fish within 15 minutes of leaving the harbor and caught several striped bass. He knew exactly where to go, kept us on the fish, and made the whole experience enjoyable. Add in an amazing sunset, and it was a perfect evening on the water. We’ll definitely be back!

Perfect charter for our small group. Catain Todd put us right on the fish and had multiple spots in close proximity - caught our limit of Striper! Relaxed trip, multiple fishing techniques and learned a bunch! 100% recommend Fish Pit Charters. We’ll be back!!!
