  Biggest Catch of the Morning !!!!

  Captain Tommy with Hatterascal Charters gave us an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. He was professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire trip fun and stress-free. You can tell he truly cares about his customers and knows these waters like the back of his hand. The boat was clean, well-kept, and everything was top notch. We caught plenty of fish and made memories that will last a lifetime. If you’re looking for a great charter with an experienced captain who works hard to make sure you have an amazing time, I highly recommend Captain Tommy and Hatterascal Charters. We were able to bring in a total of 63lbs of fish !!!Definitely a 5-star trip and we’ll be booking again!

  Captain Tommy is the best in Hatteras!

  Fishng with Captain Tommy is a must when visiting the Outer Banks. We have gone with the Hatterascal the last few years and it has gotten better every year! This year we caught "only" around 20 bluefish and Spanish mackerel which gave 8 of us about 2 dinners worth! His stories and knowledge about the island is second to none. The kids (12, 15) were entertained and pulling in fish. It was such an enjoyable day on the water and we are looking forward to next years trip already!

  Captain Tommy was friendly and professional. He was very patient and helpful with getting our children to reel in the fish. He answered all of our kids questions. We had a lovely trip. The captain was flexible about our timings and making sure we stayed out a long as we wanted but turned back when we wanted to get back. We caught quite a but of fish despite it being the low season of fishing.

  great family fishing trip

  This fishing expierence was great! our kids got a little sea sick so we went to the shallow waters and caught mackeral and blue fish. This charter was accomodating to my young family. The captain was super nice to my 2, 7, and 12 year old. The boat is spacious, has cover if weather comes in or shade from the sun, a toilet, and plenty or seat area for kods to take naps in the shade. Check them out!

  Captain Tom is a Gem. He is from a family of fisherman with a long lineage in the area. His family settled on Hatteras Island while the Indians were still there. This was my first time fishing, so I took my father with me on the trip. I absolutely loved fishing. Captain Tom is very personable, patient, and kind. We caught 83 lbs of bluefish in 45 minutes. Oh what a day!
