We had a great time, we caught some fish, although only one was good enough to keep. We also caught a shark which was one of our goals. Definitely recommend Captain Spencer was great and even let us stay out longer due to us not finding fish in the first bit!
This trip was for my son and his best friend to celebrate my son’s 13th birthday. The boys both caught a lot of fish and they both caught a shark as well. The captain was great, he stepped in and helped the boys when they needed it, but otherwise he just let them fish and that was exactly what they wanted! Definitely a great trip overall!
Captain Spencer was friendly, and our crew had a good time. He was flexible and helped us reschedule due to weather. The reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is because our trip was scheduled for 8-11, but actually ran until almost 1:30 due to some equipment issues and difficulty catching bait. The possible time change would have been helpful in the planning phase because we may have been more prepared for a longer outing. We still really enjoyed it!
Had a great time. Caught more Spanish mackerel than we knew what to do with. Caught nice sized founders. And even picked a couple of sharks: one 4ft long bonnethead and grey reef shark(?) Of about the same size. All in 4 hours.
Kids all got turns reeling in fish and adults had fun too trying to reel in a spinner shark. beautiful sunset evening with some early July 4th fireworks. Captain was courteous and professional and very knowledgeable. We had a great time.
The captain is really patient and made the rip really fun!
