We had such a great time fishing with Captain Cody! The two-hour trip was perfect for kids. We stayed fairly close to shore, and the water was nice and calm, which made the trip comfortable and relaxing.
Captain Cody was very professional and communicated with us really well. Depending on the weather, current, and fishing conditions, the departure location may change, and he keeps you updated and finds the best spot for a fun trip.
The kids had so much fun catching smaller fish like pinfish and croakers, and we also caught a 7-pound black drum and even a stingray!
One thing we especially appreciated was having Captain Cody there to help with the kids. When they needed help with bait, taking fish off the hook, or getting ready for the next catch, Cody was right there helping them. That meant my husband and I could actually relax a little and enjoy fishing too, instead of spending the whole trip helping the kids. It made such a difference for a family fishing trip!
The boat was very clean, and Captain Cody was professional, friendly, and great with the kids.
