Great crew, great boat, great weather, great fishing! What more can I say? First mate worked his rail off to make sure we caught some great fish. We’d love to do it again!
Captain Kenny and First Mate Tom were great and worked hard to put us on fish. It was a tough day for all the charter boats but we were able to catch nice Blackfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi and our limit of Tilefish. Everyone enjoy the day and had the opportunity to catch several fish. The Carissma is a very nice boat with room on the fly bridge for everyone to enjoy the views and site fish. The boat's interior was very comfortable and air conditioned for those needing a break from the heat and humidity. The fishing equipment was first class, and Captain Kenny and First Mate Tom were great at explainijg what we were doing and why. I really enjoyed talking about fishing with them and learn alot from their expertise. I could not have been more pleased with our experience.
The four of us on the trip all caught a nice Mahi Mahi. The tuna were very evasive on this trip. We were one fish shy of catching our limit on the tile fish. We caught one black bass also and got to reel a shark up next to boat. Overall was a great trip and the boat crew worked hard to put us on the fish and fun to be on the boat with. We are already planning next years trip.
Had a really good time the boat was great; very comfortable. Only caught fish dueing bottom fishing. We would have rather call fish while trolling, but it’s called fishing, not catching.
First, the Carrisma is an outstanding fishing platform. Plenty of room on-deck for our group and even more for relaxing in the cool AC. Kenny hooked us up with Dink and Tristen for 8hrs of bottom fishing. Dink put us on the fish… everywhere he stopped. OMG does that captain know his spots. Not only that, he’s got an uncanny sense for what the fish are doing and when they’re doing it. Dink - Thanks for your knowledge/experience and willingness to share. If you want an enjoyable fishing experience, just go ahead and book this one. You may not catch as many as we did but it wouldn’t surprise me if you did.
