I wish the captain communicated more with us. We should of dressed warmer because of the wind. No bathroom on board. We had no idea where we were going to fish or how long it would take to get there. We had to ask a lot of questions because he didn’t say much.
We thoroughly enjoyed our morning fishing trip with Capt Ron today. Ron gave us a great experience start to finish and had us catching fish the entire trip. We hooked a 6ft lemon shark on our light tackle & chased it for about 15 min until it broke free. We will definitely book with Ron when we are back in Islamorada!
Captain Ron was great. he communicated with us about the weather and options. while fishing he was helpful, patient and funny. even though it was windy it was a great day. and we caughy fish for dinner. trout and snapper.
My friend and I had a great time with captain Ron. It was rough and windy and Ron did his best to get us on the fish. We didn’t hit the target species but still had an enjoyable time!
Kept us fishing and catching the entire trip! We asked to fish for anything that bites - and that’s what we did! Fun morning!
It was a pleasure Sorenson the day with Capt Ron. He is exactly what you hope a Keys charter captain is like. He is knowledgeable and a great teacher. Looking forward to booking with him next year!
