Blake only shouted out rules of, "don't do this, don't do that" the whole trip. He totally micro managed our trip. He kept saying, how expensive the gear was and don't mess it up. Did we catch fish? Yes. Did Blake make it enjoyable, No! Find another guide to fish Lake Whitney.
Helen. Sorry to hear you did not recieve a better experience with me. From what I remember, your party was adamant about doing thier own thing. Typically I get this from time to time and I don't mind as long as the clients respect the equipment and stay safe. Your party unfortunately breached many standard saftey protocols and continued to misuse equipment even after being asked not to do so. My goal is to ensure a safe and fun experience for everyone. As a guide, everyone's saftey is my responsibility. As far as equipment, I generally reuse equipment, so I do ask clients to use such equipment the right way to avoid unnecessary damage.
