Had a half day trip in the afternoon with Captain Dale. Even though the action isn’t as great in the afternoon we still got fish into the boat. I even caught a wild king, but unfortunately had to return it to the water.
Captain Dale was very attentive and six hours went by so quickly. All we had to do was reel the fish in. Captain took care of everything else. Overall was a very pleasant first time experience and would love to do it again.
Captain Dale was amazing. He made this experience so much fun and his little dog Jolene was an adorable first mate. Strongly recommend Ruby D.

A great hard working Captain with a newer boat in excellent condition and top notch equipment. He knew right where the Pink Salmon were at and had us bringing them in just a few minutes after the lines went in the water. Gave us great tips and instructions taught all 4 off us some wonderful things. We left the dock at 5:30 am, right on time and two hours later we’re we’re on our way back in with all of us hitting our limit. He came across as a very ethical businessman and sportsman too. Next time we have friends coming to visit us from back in Ohio I will definitely book with him again! He even cleaned and filleted our fish without being asked too! I could not ask for more in a charter.
Captain Dale and Captain AJ were excellent hosts!!! The family had a great time, the fishing were biting and the weather was perfect! This was a great experience for fisherman and the first timers. I would recommend Ruby D Charters to anyone who wants to fish the Puget Sound and have a great time. I will definitely use Captain Dale again when we return to Seattle. Cheers!!! 🤙🏽
