Year 2 with Off Duty
This is the second year in a row that my family has booked with Off Duty Charters and there’s a sincere reason we will try and book him again for a third year. This was a longer charter (5hr) for us as it was a surprise birthday gift for my uncle from Wisconsin. We set out to the reef near Hilton Head and low and behold, we snagged an 8-10ft shark. Most people would have cut ties after 15-20 minutes of fighting this beast but Cpt Rich lead us on an epic chase for over an hour. Only at the hour-fifteen mark did the line snap. After that, we didn’t have much luck at that spot anymore so Cpt Rich lead us more inland where we hit the jackpot. His knowledge of the area and overall demeanor keeps us coming back each year. Absolutely incredible.
