The weather was less than ideal but Don was still willing to take us out and not cancel. He did a great job keeping us safe and comfortable on ruff waters. We were able to get some good fish and had a great time!

We caught our limits of rockfish for six people. The captain was very good with the kids 7 to 11 years old. He was very patient with us and to the kids who were new to rockfishing. The captain explain everything we need to do to have a successful fishing trip. There were salmon trying to eat the baits which was cool to see. Oh yeah we did catch a bunch of crabs. The captain was so kind to return one of the crabs back into the ocean when it clamped on to him. 😉 The captain was very talkative and joked around with us. I would recommend him to anyone.

This is our third trip out with Donald and Pastime Fishing Adventures and each time has been better than the previous. Not sure how he is going to top it next year, but I am sure Donald will fid a way. This year we struck out in a new direction than usual to try out some new spots ad it turned out to be an excellent choice. We were quickly on schools of impressively large bass and beautiful ling cod and had a great day, hitting our limit on bass quickly and pulling in six lings as well. 12 dungeoness crabs topped off the days haul for a cooler full of fish. Fishing aside, Donalds company and humor was on point and the scenery was spectacular. Donald remains a top captain and guid, patiently providing help where needed, and allowing those who need less assistance to be more independent. A perfect day. Highly recommend!

We did a shared boat first day, and a private our second day. We limited out on rockfish both days, second day thr ling cod bite wasnt working, so we shifted out for Petrale and ended up hooking a 39" nearshore halibut and a nice petrale sole. fantastic experience, knowledgeable of the fisheries and all around nice guy to have as a guide. super personable and a fun guy to have as a captain. i cannot recommend him enough

From the time we boarded the boat, Donald was so aware, attentive, and on top of all of our needs. He actually remembered and brought iinformation about us from our pre trip survey into our conversation. He was great at making it a very positive experience. To as much of his professional ability as possible, he also did his very best to get us as close to our quota of fish. We were so close! Thanks Captain Donald.

Excellent day on the boat. Captain knew exactly where to go to be sure we caught fish. The 5 of us had a great time. Would highly recommend. Also, when booking trip, Captain was extremely responsive to questions and very helpful.
