Fun day on the water

Capt Darius and his helper were very cordial and eager to please. Our first drop we were almost immediately catching B Liners. The dolphin must really enjoy these as they hardly let us put one in the boat. We moved and started catching several Red Snapper but had to release them since the season was not open. We continued to move around and catching Red Snapper and feeding the dolphin some BLiners. We had a great day and a fun time with a great crew.

    Captain D is the best

    My daughter’s boyfriend wanted to catch a shark. He had brought his own rod & reel which Captain D allowed him to use. Unfortunately he didn’t manage to get one, but he did catch an Amberjack and a Red Snapper. He had to throw them both back. He had wanted to catch a fish to take home. It was Captain Darius’s birthday and he wanted to make sure Trevor had a fish to take home. Just before we left he caught one for him and even cleaned it when we got back. He went above and beyond to make it a great day. I went because I love to be out on the water. I enjoyed the ride and we saw more dolphins on this fishing trip than I’ve ever seen on a dolphin cruise. 😂 Of course they were all after the bait being used to catch a shark. We hope Captain Darius had a great birthday! He sure deserved to!

    Unexpected Lifetime Catch(es)

    Went out on the 4-hour shark trip and, while we didn't catch any sharks, we caught, not one, but two, Goliath Groupers. The first (a baby) was estimated about 100 pounds. The second took 45 minutes and 5 men taking turns on the reel to get up to the boat and was estimated at 600 pounds! We also caught dozens of Red Snapper, Triggers, and Red Groupers. Sharks would have been great, but certainly not disappointed.

    Perfect Family Fishing Trip

    Our family had a great fishing experience! The captain and crew were great with our kids- teaching them how to know when to reel up the fish, the different types of fish we were catching, and just relating to their age range with their interactions. We stopped at a few spots and were able to keep 16lbs of the fish we caught. Loved the personalized experience along with the friendliness and knowledge of the captain and crew.

    Captain Darius gave us a great trip! Not a dull moment the entire time. He was friendly and did his best to make sure we stayed on fish. Will definitely be booking with him again!
