Weather was ruff, but we still went out, had fun and caught a few.... Captain Matt was professional, instruction and pleasant to spend a guided trip with !!
I had the pleasure of fishing with Matt on Lake Tarpon in mid-March 2024, and despite the relative absence of bites, Matt was wonderfully attentive and even spent an extra hour on the lake with no charge. I hooked three fish, none of which exceeded 1.5 or two pounds, but I attribute that entirely to a recent weather change/conditions. Matt made every effort to get fish in the boat and was extremely helpful and generous with his time and effort. The slow day was definitely due to the front that had come through, and I'm certain that a future venture with Matt will/would produce more and larger fish. He knows his spots and his stuff.
Fishing was poor the day of our trip but Matt is an amazing guide he did everything in his power to give us a great experience. We will definitely be back.
We had a great time. Matt was early & well prepared for our fishing trip. He knew exactly where the fish were & gave great advice on how to catch them. I highly recommend fishing with Matt!
