Had an awesome day being my first time out ocean fishing. Crew was very friendly, accommodating and patient. Captain tried to get us on bigger fish while trolling but took the hand mother nature dealt us. Between the mackerel and blue fish caught was 30 pounds total, it's better than being skunked. Fishing back home I know all about those kinda days. As a fisherman it's always more exciting to catch bigger fish but when the bites at what it is you take what you get. I had an amazing time. And would recommend these folks to anybody that want to do some fishing. I will definitely go again.
This was our second year going out on the Salt Grit and both years have been wonderful! We caught about 10 fish and are looking forward to a Sea Bass and assorted fish dinner tonight. We are a family of 4 and they were great for my preteen and teenager (the serious fisherman). The boat is very comfortable with covered seating. Just bring your food, drinks, sunscreen, and a good attitude. We hope you enjoy it ad much as we did!
Great trip with Outer Banks Outdoors! Captain Ches and First Mate Jesse got us on the fish right away. We were on fish the entire 6 hours. Very nice boat, great crew, and a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend them!
Had a great experience this morning! The group included 4 kids (7-13) and they were thrilled to reel in a few fish, see some dolphins and catch dinner. We caught 2 mackerel and about 16 blues. Thanks for answering all our questions and making this a great trip! We will totally book again on Salt Grit!
