We really enjoyed the trip with Playin Hooky! Everyone had a wonderful time! My Grandson said it was the best fishing adventure he had ever been on! We will be going out again for sure! We caught plenty of fish! Captain Ronnie sure knows how to make you feel at home! 😃
I booked this trip as a Father’s Day gift for my husband because he loves fishing, and it turned out to be an amazing experience! Booking was quick and easy. The same day I made the reservation, Capt. Ronnie called me personally. He was friendly, personable, and made me feel confident that we were in good hands. On the morning of the trip, my husband and I got a little lost, but when I called, Capt. Ronnie patiently guided us to the pickup location. Throughout the trip, Capt. Ronnie was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and informative. We caught our fair share of fish, and whenever the bite slowed down, he quickly moved us to another spot to keep the action going. One of the highlights was watching Capt. Ronnie clean and fillet all of our fish while teaching us how to do it ourselves. The boat was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The Captain was great, knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. Fished for striped bass, fishing was slow, managed a few fish even though the conditions weren’t ideal Captain Ronnie worked hard to find the fish, the water temperature was too high and the fish weren’t biting. Sometimes that happens. Would fish again with him in a heartbeat! Highly recommend Captain Ronnie and Playin Hooky charters.

This was the best fishing trip my father and I have ever experienced. Mr. Ronnie put us on several fish and my Dad caught his first Stripper Bass. Thank yoh for such an incredible memory..
