Fun on Rayburn

Had a good day. We caught a decent amount of bass throughout day but bite was challenging. A bunch in the 1-3lb range. Credit to Ross he worked lots of sites trying to put us on fish. He was a really solid guy and very knowledgable. He was disappointed we couldn’t have had a better day fishing wise but we were happy. He out in a LOT of effort. That’s just fishing sometimes

Thanks for the kind review. There’s nothing that bothers me more than someone traveling like yall did and the day not being as good as we’d hoped for. It is fishing but nevertheless some days it’s like that. I think you guys were about a week away from the lake really popping off.     A good trip

    Captain Ross was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The fish were not biting, but the overall experience was excellent.

    Great day in the water.

    First let me say that we didn't go on Rayburn. A few days before we went on our trip the fish just shut off, so Ross our captain called me and asked if we would rather try a smaller lake in the area. We had a great trip and caught some really nice wish all on frogs which we love to do. Ross could have left things as they were, brought us out on Rayburn and hope we get into some fish but he wanted to make sure that we had a good time so he offered some alternatives. I appreciate the fact that he cared enough to want us to catch some fish and didn't mind going out of his way to do so. I'll definitely be using Ross Jewell again.

    Fishing with Ross

    4 Hour Trip – Sam Rayburn (AM) • 2 adulti

    Ross was great with my 13-year-old son Jake; he was very patient and helpful. We were thrilled to catch 11 fish in around 3 hours. Overall a great experience with Ross. He managed Jake's expectations and then over-achieved. Ross's expert knowledge of Lake Sam Rayburn and state-of-the-art equipment led to a successful day under challenging weather conditions. We are planning to return during the high season in Jan. - March. Thanks, Ross!
