Awesome Trip on Lake Placid!

Booked Valerie for a trip out in Lake Placid, Florida during March 2025. Not only was I able to land my first 5+ pound bass, but I was also given a master class in the use of state of the art electronics and how to find fish. Val was very informative and was patient and willing to answer all my questions. I caught loads of fish as well as the big one that I came to Florida to find. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to have a great experience with an accommodating captain, that knows how to put you on fish. Looking forward to my next trip down to Florida and fishing with Valerie.

    What a Great Day with a Great Captain

    Valerie Morrell of Morrell Charters guided me on the Headwaters of the St. John River. We caught BASS, about 33. A half dozen at 5 lbs, none under 3 lbs. If you want a Captain that is committed to giving you a Great fishing experience, use her. She is very client focused and a pleasure to spend the day on the water with. I have fished with many captains but none with a client focus that she has. I very highly recommend Morrell fishing Charter and you will have an amazing experience.

    Valerie is Top Notch! She knows her stuff! was super on time,sweet, super helpful, and constantly keeping us kn the fish!! We caught 44 in 4 hours! Even in August (102 F)

    Hands down the best bass guide I have ever been with! She knows the lake extremely well and caught a ton of quality fish. If you are guessing yourself about booking a trip with her don’t be afraid she puts in a ton of time finding fish for you!

    It was an amazing trip, we caught so many fish and heard amazing stories!! Would absolutely recommend to anyone in the Sebring area!!!
