David was brilliant, he knew a lot about the area and the fish. I would highly recommend anyone consider him for a family trip out.
Our trip started with a slow morning slack tide, which is how you would want it so the rest of the day would be on fire. Started out inshore catching mangrove snapper and moved out a couple of miles off the beach in the afternoon to catch Goliaths and big jacks, with some lane snapper, red grouper, and grunts thrown in. The crew worked well together. They had a plan but were able to change it to suit the conditions. I was impressed the mate, John, with rigging of the equipment, working fishing line around the anchor when the fish would circle the boat, and his overall seamanship. Overall I was happy that my wife and friends were able to go out there and land some fish that aren’t readily accessible to us from the beach! The company has access to a larger, faster craft that can go out further and we look forward to working with the crew in the future on that!
