    (Striper fishing MORNING)

    Wonderful day on the lake!

After a bit if a slow start, our patience paid off and we were pulling in fish left and right to finish our half day trip! I highly recommend captain Fisher. His boat and gear were all great.

    (Sunrise/Sunset Trip - 6:00 PM)

    Great Time!

We did an evening/night guided trip to celebrate an educational achievement. We landed 6 fish total, all of good quality. I even caught my PB Bluecat (over 20 lbs). 10/10 would go again. Captain Brian was very friendly and knowledgable. Had everything we needed for a great time.

Had so much fun on our guided tour with Mr. Johnny. Would definitely go again. Caught tons of catfish and learned a lot about fishing and the area. Mr. Johnny is the best guide!

Catfish fishing is a favorite for many anglers. These whiskered fish are common in rivers, lakes, and reservoirs. They fight hard, bite at night, and taste great. Most people target them because they are accessible and active for much of the year.

You can catch Catfish by bottom fishing from shore or a boat. Use cut bait, live bait, or prepared stink baits. A simple slip-sinker rig lets the fish take the bait without feeling weight. Pair it with a circle hook and a strong leader. Drift with the current or anchor and wait. For larger Blue Catfish and Flathead Catfish, fresh bait fish works best.

Expect a relaxed, patient style of fishing with bursts of action. It suits families, beginners, and trophy hunters alike. Many anglers fish at dusk or after dark when Catfish feed more. Bring a headlamp, gloves, sturdy rod holders, and a cooler for your catch. Wear clothes you do not mind getting messy. Handle fish with care to avoid the sharp dorsal and pectoral spines.

Before your trip, check local rules. Make sure you have the right fishing license or permits. Review any season, size, and harvest regulations for your water. Some areas have special rules for certain Catfish species. When in doubt, ask local authorities or your guide for the latest information.
