We had a great trip with Jay. It wasn’t easy, we had to search and work for it. The two of us limited out on Reds and added additional 3 black drum. Jays knowledgeable and we learned some new things. Jay goes above and beyond when he processes your fish too. There’s no waste, he even cuts out the red fish collars !!

My wife encouraged me to book a guided fishing trip on our vacation to the Texas coast. I was so glad that I went with Capt Jay. I have never been on an airboat before, so this was a treat. Capt Jay made the day extremely pleasurable and graciously provided the information he shared with me. I learned a lot of new things about saltwater fishing as I usually am a freshwater guy. We started the day looking for redfish, hoping to get our limit early so we could target black drum. Unfortunately, the fish we not as cooperative as we would have liked. After catching the first two reds around 10:30 in the morning, Capt Jay went looking for the third one. They became elusive, but that did not deter Capt Jay. During our search, Capt Jay was able to help me start to learn how to read the water for fish movement. His eyes were much keener than mine. They should be with 20+ years of experience. We were finally able to get the third keeper at about 3 pm and called it a day. It was a tough day on the water, but Capt Jay was persistent in helping me limit out. I highly recommend Capt Jay. He will make your day on the water worthwhile. His pleasant personality and storytelling will make the fishing even better. Thanks Capt Jay for a great day!!!

We had a wonderful trip on Memorial Day weekend 2022. Jay treated us like royalty and worked tirelessly to put us on fish. Everyone on the boat limited and used their oversized tag. He took the extra time to give us a bay tour on his airboat. It was exhilarating!! Jay fileted all the fish and sealed them up in ziplocks for us. We took three large filets to Los Comales immediately after we finished for an amazing meal. Highly recommend Jay.
