Captain Dave made this trip memorable for all of us. He knew exactly where to find the fish and made sure my sons and I all had successful catches. His patience and clear instruction kept everyone engaged and confident on the water, whether it was our first time or our hundredth. He handled the boat with real skill, and you could tell he genuinely cared about making sure we had a great day out there. This is the kind of experience that gets your family hooked on fishing. Captain Dave had made a great afternoon of fishing for us. We didn’t go out very far but somehow caught a bunch of croakers and some flounder and crab. My kids and I enjoyed the break from the beach with a relaxing afternoon catching fish with great conversation. He directed us where to get the fish filet afterward and gave great directions on how to get to his boat as well. Overall 10/10 would love to come back next near and try for different fish!

Went out shark fishing with my son (14) and his friend. Caught the bait to start, then headed out in search of Jaws. Only landed Jaw’s distant cousin (hundred pound sand shark) and had a few get away, but had a great time nonetheless. Captain Dave was a great host. Knows his stuff and gave us a great outing. We’ll be fishing with him again soon.

Captain Dave was great. My husband and I chartered a 4 hour trip. We fished the bay and then moved out to the ocean side of the breaker wall. We caught several different varieties of fish. I was happy to pull in a flounder! Captain Dave is knowledgeable about the area, and easy-going. I would highly recommend chartering with Captain Dave.

Dave was fantastic. My son and I had a blast. Started out catching 20 or so croakers, got a flounder, a few annoying crabs, black bass in the intercoastal. Then we ventured out into the bay an caught more black bass, multiple toad fish and more! Constant action my son said it was his favorite trip. Great memories and photos.

The Captain and mate are great. They kept bait on our hooks and most importantly found the fish. We caught a variety of species. Such as Flounder, Crocker, Spot and others. Definitely enjoyed ourselves. Looking forward to booking another trip with Captain Houser.

Captain Dave took us around the Lewes canal, then out into Delaware Bay and Breakwater Harbor. We used clams and minnows as bait, and my son and I caught a lot of critters, including blue crabs, croakers, flounder, a huge horseshoe crab, and my son caught a dogfish and was thrilled. We had a great time on the water and hope to do it again.

The captain was great with the my two kids and made sure they were catching something even when the flounder fishing was slow! It was very hot but he kept us on the fish for all four hours and we loved it! I would highly recommend you book a trip.

thats how many stars my granddaughter wanted to give Captain Dave 😎. We all love fishing in the canal. Kids cought seventeen crockers and spots, one tiny black sea bass, and one great flounder almost 18 inches long 👍

great trip, caught a bunch of fish. The captain was super friendly, and helpful. He made sure we all caught fish. It was great conversation, he really was a good guy. I feel he’d be great with any age or gender.
