Reel Addiction Charters nodigt u uit om te ontspannen en veel plezier te hebben met vissen in en rond Newport, Rhode Island. Schipper Chip Parker neemt u mee naar de kust en de open zee om te vissen op verschillende soorten, en met alle visgronden die rijk zijn aan vis, heeft u een grote kans om een mooie vangst binnen te halen.
Uw trip begint op een 30' Stamas walkaround, een boot die plaats biedt aan 4 gasten en wordt aangedreven door twee 225 PK Yamaha-motoren. De boot is uitgerust met uitgebreide navigatietechnologie die u snel naar de vis brengt en de faciliteiten omvatten een toilet, douche en bedden. Er is een koelbox om uw vis en drankjes op te slaan en een livewell om levend aas te bewaren. Voor alle hulp die u nodig heeft, kunt u terecht bij de eerste maat, die alleen voor fooien werkt!
De soorten die u kunt vangen zijn onder andere Gestreepte Zeebaars, Blauwbaars, Tautog, Zwarte Zeebaars, Scup en meer. U kunt ze vangen met licht materiaal en zwaar materiaal op allerlei manieren, waaronder bodemvissen en diepzeevissen, trollen, spinvissen, jiggen, popping en driftvissen. U mag uw vangst houden als u wilt, kinderen zijn welkom om mee te gaan op de trip, en er mag NIET GEROOKT worden, van welke soort dan ook aan boord.
De schipper voorziet u van alle visgerei, vergunningen en drankjes, en hij zal uw vangst ook gratis schoonmaken en fileren, alleen op volledige dagcharters. U hoeft alleen het eten van uw keuze mee te nemen voordat u vertrekt.

The captain put us right on top of some fish numerous times resulting in taking home the catch.
I really appreciate the nice review. Unfortunately, it was an off day. Was hoping for more. But you all were so great to have on board!

So, first off let me first say that Chip had us out there for just about 6 hours; it was a scheduled 4 hour trip. So I decided to take my 10 year old son deep sea fishing. I simply googled “deep sea fishing RI” and a bunch of choices came up. Not knowing anyone of them from personal experience I went with reviews and FEEL. I chose Real Addiction Charters. And I hit the proverbial jackpot. All I can say is WOW!! Chip and his second mate were beyond phenomenal. This guy and the second mate knew their stuff and they provided my son and I with a memory that will live forever. Chip and his second mate were cordial, funny and right there to provide assistance when needed while allowing us as much autonomy as we could handle. And he books in a way where you don’t feel rushed. The fish weren’t biting at first, but that was of no concern to Chip. With his superior knowledge of the sea and amazing equipment (that was very interesting by the way) coupled with the fact he was willing to basically stay out there for AS LONG AS IT TOOK, anyone who charters with him is taking their best chance at a successful and amazingly memorable experience. We already booked another trip with him for next year!! The day we got back. By the way my son caught a sea bass that we kept and Chip flayed it right there on his boat. Hands down Chip is the man.

Captain Chip was fantastic and we had a wonderful time out on our charter. We lost count of the number of fish we caught, but we caught striped bass less than 28” and some over 34” so we didn’t get any keepers. We did keep 3 of the bluefish we caught and they were big and tough fighters. Captain Chip knows his way around Aquidneck Island and it was funny watching others follow him/us as we kept catching fish! My friend and his son from PA both commented many times on how this was the best fishing trip they had ever been on. All thanks to Captain Chip. He was fantastic with 12 year old Andrew. We bottom fished with eels, used bobbers, umbrellas, etc. Tried all types of poles and setups and were delighted with how many fish we got on the lines. Would highly recommend Reel Addiction Charters.

Captain chip and mate Paul were phenomenal. We started trolling for striper and caught two nice ones right off the bat, the winds picked up and seas got rough so we headed into the bay and fished for tautog and sea bass. We caught a ton of both and took home a cooler full of fish. This charter is phenomenal, great conversations, great experience, they showed us landmarks, famous houses on our way out, put us on the fish. Plenty of live bait. It was a great experience even with all that Mother Nature threw at us !! We will be back again!!
