Een spannende dag op het water begint hier. Vliegvissen is precies wat de dokter voorschreef voor iedereen die houdt van een actieve vakantie. Ga met de schipper mee voor een dag en verken de flats, backcountry en inshore plekken van Port Aransas. Beter wordt het niet!
De reis begint op een 18' boot die plaats biedt aan maximaal 2 gasten. Deze flatsboot is gebouwd in 2021 en beschikt over de nieuwste GPS-visapparatuur. Ze wordt aangedreven door een 70 PK Yamaha-motor en een draadloze trollingmotor. Je kunt altijd rekenen op een stabiele en betrouwbare vaart, met gemakkelijke toegang tot ondiepe plekken waar andere boten niet kunnen komen.
Je schipper is een expert als het gaat om vliegvissen en hij kan gemakkelijk die onopvallende bewegingen onder water spotten. Hij positioneert de boot zodat jij het beste schot hebt en dan is het aan jou om in de juiste richting te werpen. Precisie is de sleutel als het gaat om vliegvissen, dus doe je best en de trofee is van jou! Enkele van de soorten waar je op kunt vissen zijn Tarpon, Redfish, Forel, Schaapskopbrasem en nog veel meer.
Alle visuitrusting is bij de prijs inbegrepen en frisdranken zijn ook gedekt. Zorg ervoor dat je je visvergunning meeneemt en pak wat snacks naar keuze in.
Vissers van alle niveaus zijn welkom om mee te doen. De schipper is een geweldige leraar en hij zal elke beginner snel veranderen in een enthousiaste visser. Vliegvissen wacht op je!

He was also very responsible an safe as a boat captain I didn't question his boat driving skills for one min. This fishing trip would be great for all anglers but the more skilled will definitely have a advantage as you are trying to get there bait in the right spot at the right time.

We even jumped out of the boat with our rods to explore a mangrove and trekked to an area where it opened up and the fish were EVERYWHERE! Can't wait to go back for another trip. Great guide, great trip.

Halve Dagtrip op oktober 22, 2021 • 2 volwassenenCaptain Gibson took us straight to the reds and trout where we caught and released and kept a few keepers for my wife’s ceviche and filets to take to seafood and spaghetti works where they do a fabulous job preparing your fish family style. Gibson was great at pushing us through the shallows and teaching these novices fly fishing off the front of the boat. He knows how to spot ‘em. Highly recommend this trip.

He put my 11 year old son on fish but we were just new to the technique. We will definitely do it again. Captian Gibson was very patient to show us proper technique and get into the shallows to chase reds. My son has been on other trips and caught a lot of fish and still said this was his favorite trip because he loved hunting and working to spot the fish. He’s hooked.

If you like the hunt, this is the experience you want. We did not catch fish but that was not the Captain’s fault. He put my 11 year old son on fish but we were just new to the technique. We will definitely do it again. Captian Gibson was very patient to show us proper technique and get into the shallows to chase reds. My son has been on other trips and caught a lot of fish and still said this was his favorite trip because he loved hunting and working to spot the fish. He’s hooked.

Captain found the fish but the wind was bad.
We had alot of things against us in this trip. Super overcast, extremely windy, and high tide…but Captain Clay got us on fish! Right out of the gate we were on schools of reds. Poor casting in the wind made it difficult to put it where we needed but managed to land a few reds for the cooler. Clay was awesome and knew his stuff. Will for sure be back!
