Reef Runner Charters Key West is een lokaal eigendom en wordt lokaal geëxploiteerd als vischarter, gelegen aan de historische Charter Boat Row in Key West. Wij richten ons op het aanbieden van ontspannen, professionele vistrips die plezierig zijn voor alle ervaringsniveaus, van beginnende vissers tot doorgewinterde vissers.

U vist aan boord van een comfortabele 34 voet Crusader die plaats biedt aan maximaal zes gasten. De boot is uitgerust met een toilet, koelbox en vechtingstoel, waardoor het een uitstekende keuze is voor zowel kortere trips als langere dagen op open zee. Alle hengels, molens, materiaal, aas en visvergunningen zijn inbegrepen, en gasten mogen alle legale vangst houden.

Wij bieden trips aan van 3 tot 12 uur, zodat u de optie kunt kiezen die het beste past bij uw schema en visdoelen. Elke trip wordt gepland op basis van de huidige omstandigheden en seizoenspatronen om u de beste kans te geven op een succesvolle dag op het water. Afhankelijk van het seizoen en de duur van de trip kunnen doelsoorten zijn: Goudmakreel, Snapper, Tandbaars, Wahoo, Zeilvis, Tonijn en andere seizoensgebonden vissen die in de wateren van Key West voorkomen.

Een ervaren schipper en eerste maat zorgen voor een veilige, professionele en plezierige viservaring en helpen met het azen, gaffelhaak gebruiken en het behandelen van uw vangst gedurende de hele trip. Fooien zijn gebruikelijk en worden altijd gewaardeerd.

Koud flessenwater wordt verstrekt en gasten mogen snacks of extra drankjes meenemen. Reef Runner Charters is gezinsvriendelijk en kinderen zijn altijd welkom aan boord.

Amazing trip exactly as i wanted

I booked this 4 hour fishing trip for my wife (non fisher but wanted to try it) and myself. I messaged the captain to ask if he could help my wife to fish, put us on a variety if fish and point out some of the local wildlife. He replied and was very helpful. 
On the day Edward did not disapoint. We saw dolphins and a turtle, various birds and a good variety of fish. Adam and Ricky the mates were busy all  time setting gear and unhooking the fish we were catching. Very easy going and incredibly helpful. Great variety of fish from macheral to snapper, bonito to a bonus shark. They filletted the fish we wanted to keep and we took them Hogfish ( recommended by Adam) who fried them to perfection. An amazing trip and I would highly recommend them.

Full Day Trip (8 Hours) (AM) op April 6, 2026 • 4 volwassenen

The bite was fair! The crew, however, did a most impressive job of finding fish for us. Capt. Edward and Mate Evan are very knowledgeable and absolutely tenacious. Their non stop effort resulted in our catching a wide  variety of species, including big Red  Snapper, Wahoo, and Sail Fish. Blackfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna, Yellowtail Snapper, and several other species rounded out the catch. Talk around the dock was that our Wahoo and Sailfish were the best catches on two days! The fellas were especially helpful to me as Im recovering from leg injuries and to my thirteen year old grandson! Nothing but good things to say about the trip! Moreover, the boat is very comfortable with padded benches with sun and rain protection, yet open with great  visibility. All of us were impressed with our experience and highly recommend  Reef Runner!

Great Day on the Water

6 Hour Fishing Trip - 6:00 AM op March 6, 2026 • 6 volwassenen

Had an absolute blast out on the water with Captain Edward and Ricky! We caught plenty of red snapper, yellowtail snapper, and mangrove snapper- definitely enough for a great meal of blackened snapper tacos later. We also had a ton of fun battling some big groupers and even a few goliath groupers (too bad we had to let em all go!). We even took a shot at catching some lemon sharks, which made the day even more exciting.

What really made the trip stand out was how great Captain Edward and Ricky were with everyone on board. Some of us were fishing for the very first time, while others had a bit more experience, and they did an awesome job making sure everyone felt comfortable and had a good time. They were incredibly patient- especially when lines got tangled or when someone (definitely not me 😅) needed a reminder on the proper way to reel in when fighting something on the line.

If you're looking for a fun, relaxed fishing trip with a crew that’s knowledgeable, helpful, and genuinely wants everyone to enjoy themselves, I highly recommend heading out with Captain Edward and Ricky. It was an awesome day on the water and a trip we’ll definitely remember!

Amazing Honeymoon Trip!

Half Day Trip (4 hours) (PM) op February 10, 2026 • 2 volwassenen

Wife approved a 4 hour trip on our honeymoon so we could fish in Key West. Evan and Captain Pete were excellent. Super calm and relaxed and they had great chemistry working together. told them we just wanted enough fish for dinner that night. Started the trip bottom fishing for snapper and 
found them quickly. Filled the cooler! We then went trolling for sailfish and mackerel. pulled in some nice mackerel and a bonita. On the last drift, I pulled in a large red grouper. what a battle! was out of season for grouper but had a hell of time reeling him in. Evan suggested we get the fish cooked at Hogfish and to have it fried. wife and i ate well and the fried fish was amazing. Great time on Reef Runner - hoping to be back again soon

I booked an all day trip, and I was glad I did because it took awhile to find the fish, but that can happen to anyone. We left early in the morning, which I appreciate. We trolled for wahoo early, but never hooked up with one. The Captain and mate actively sought out more fish, and eventually we got into a nice bunch of mackerel. Also caught snappers and jacks, a barracuda, and a very nice sailfish to top it all off. They adjusted tactics and locations until we had all the fish we could eat for 6 people and then some, then we tried for the sail and got one. It was awesome, thanks.
