Uw tocht begint aan boord van een 23' Bay boot die tot 4 passagiers kan vervoeren. Hij is uitgerust met alle benodigdheden waaronder geen vismachine kan functioneren. Er is een toilet bij de boothelling voor of na uw tocht. Kapt. Kenny zorgt voor hengels en molens, evenals kunstaas en levend aas.

If I could give this charter 10 stars, I absolutely would! From start to finish this was hands down one of the BEST experiences we’ve ever had on the water. Captain Kenny was incredible — super friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and made the entire trip so much fun. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does and wants everyone to have an amazing time.
The fishing was EPIC! We were catching fish nonstop and reeling in some seriously big ones. The adrenaline rush of fighting those fish was unforgettable, and Kenny made sure everyone got in on the action. He knew exactly where to go and kept the energy up the entire trip.
Not only did we catch amazing fish, but the whole atmosphere was perfect — great vibes, lots of laughs, and memories we’ll be talking about for years. Whether you’re experienced or brand new to fishing, this is THE charter to book.
Thank you Kenny for such an awesome day on the water. We’ll 1000% be back again! Lifetime friendship was made! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an unforgettable fishing trip!

The trip was great! The captain made sure to meet all our needs and wants. We caught a lot, brought home dinner, and caught large fish for fun too. We caught a good variety of fish; including a couple of large red drum, trout, one large black drum, small sheephead. The captain was great. He was instructive, patient, and knowledgeable. He made sure everyone had at least one good catch. He made it a priority to make sure we had a good trip and wasn’t worried about time or anxious to get back. Our trip was his priority. I would definitely recommend this captain to do your trip as well.

A Winter Win on the Indian River:

Shoutout to Red Alert Charters!
My brother and I recently had the pleasure of heading out with Captain Ken from Red Alert Charters for a winter trip on the Indian River in Melbourne, and it was an absolute standout experience.
Captain Ken completely delivered on his promise of a great day. He knows these waters like the back of his hand, and it showed. The highlights of the day included:
The Big Catch: Landing a feisty 24 lb. Black Drum that gave us a serious run for our money!
Variety: We also brought in some beautiful Speckled Sea Trout, and Mangrove Snapper, adding some great action to the day.
The Vibe: Beyond the fishing, we were fortunate to have perfect Florida winter weather and some truly fine banter. Captain Ken isn't just a knowledgeable guide; he’s great company on the boat and even had a stocked cooler for our trip.
If you’re looking for a top-tier charter in Melbourne, I can’t recommend Red Alert enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Best Fishing Excursion!

Captain Ken was excellent from start to finish on our 1/2 day trip. Super welcoming from the moment we arrived, knowledgable, professional and entertaining in exactly the right amount. He knew the best spots and was super helpful in guiding us to be successful. Being from Michigan, our style of fishing is different than is required in FL, and Ken set us up for success by teaching us how to cast, wait, and land some great fighting fish! We could not have asked for a better guide or experience to highlight our vacation in Melbourne.

cold front with limited expectations
Full Day Trip op January 28, 2026 • 3 volwassenen
we made a short notice booking with a cold front moving in. We showed up at 07:15am at the meeting location and off we went. The tempature was 39 deg with a 5-7mph wind with a high of 59-deg. for the day. looking for warm water we stopped at location #1 and with in 30-45 minutes we had 3 of the biggest sheepshead fish of the season (per guide). Then off to location #2 for some Red fish, by the third cast a red fish hit and ran straight for the boat with a massive run and pulled the hook, (now that was a trophy red). This put the whole boat on high Red alert! Well as an experienced fisherman from the west this style of fishing was a little learning curve for sure. After a few missed opportunities we landed 3 Reds, only problem was all reds were not allowed to be kept so back in the water they went. Dang it! After everyone had a sheepshead, a red, we went after the blackdrum to complete our Drum Slam. We loaded up and went on a hunt for black drum at location #3. With in a short amount of time my daughter caught 2 black drum to complete a Drum slam for the boat. With limited expectations due to weather you could say it was a successful experience and trip.
