Strike Charters is een full-service inshore vischarter gevestigd in Wilmington NC.
Strike Charters organiseert charters vanuit Wrightsville Beach, Fort Fisher, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Southport, Oak Island, Bald Head Island en de Cape Fear River.

Schipper Drew Tyndall komt oorspronkelijk uit Wilmington, NC en is een volledig gediplomeerde en verzekerde USCG-schipper. Drew vist al sinds zijn jeugd in de wateren van de Cape Fear-regio. Hij ontwikkelde een passie voor inshore vissen en heeft zijn vaardigheden in het vinden van vis door de jaren heen geperfectioneerd. Zijn ervaring zorgt ervoor dat je een geweldige dag op het water hebt! Drew is een leuke kerel met een geweldige persoonlijkheid en zorgt ervoor dat je een dag vol plezier op het water hebt!

Strike Charters richt zich op vissen in ondiep water met licht materiaal. Soorten zijn onder andere Redfish, Trommelvis, Gevlekte Ombervis, Schaapskopbrasem en Gevlekte Ombervis. Schipper Drew biedt ook vliegvissen aan, maar je moet wel je eigen vliegvisuitrusting meenemen.

Kinderen zijn altijd welkom! Schipper Drew is geweldig met kinderen en vindt het heerlijk om ze te leren vissen! Zorg ervoor dat je bevestigt welke maat zwemvest nodig is voor kleine kinderen. Kinderen van 12 jaar en jonger moeten een zwemvest dragen tijdens de vaart.

Strike Charters vaart met een nieuwe (2026) 23' Sea Pro 230 dlx baaiboot die 1 tot 4 vissers (of maximaal 6 passagiers) kan vervoeren. De boot is volledig uitgerust voor inshore vissen en heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een geweldige dag op het water. Hengels, molens en materiaal worden allemaal voor je verstrekt. Je visvergunning voor de dag wordt gedekt door de charterboot, dus geen extra kosten voor jou.

Half Day of Fishing Fun

Half Day Trip (AM) op May 26, 2026

Book your next charter with Drew and Strike Charters!  You will not be disappointed!   Drew has been fishing these waters for many years, learning all the hot spots and honey holes where the fish like to hang out.  We met Drew at the Fort Fisher public boat ramp where he was waiting, having been out hours before catching bait for us to use on our trip. Drew has excellent fishing tackle for his customers- spinning rods spooled with braided line with Carolina rigs set up with one ounce sinkers and circle hooks.  We left the boat ramp and Drew expertly navigated the multiple sand bars and shallow shoals and we were quickly positioned at one of his “spots.”  His boat comfortably seating four passengers, has ample storage for our    small coolers filled with snacks and beverages.  I really loved the bow trolling motor which has gps positioning which keeps the boat where he wants it so we aren’t swinging with the currents.  Drew baits our hooks and casts it out to where he thinks the fish are.  Quickly we had fish on and battle to land the fish began. It was so much fun and Drew was a fantastic host, guide and Captain.  Looking forward to our next booking with Strike Charters and Drew Tyndall.

Plenty of fish with Strike Charter!!!

3 Hour Inshore Fishing Trip (AM/PM) - 11:30 AM op May 29, 2026 • 2 volwassenen

If you’re looking for a charter that will provide you with exceptional equipement, and a great time, Drew should be your captain! He is very down to earth and has an extensive knowledge of salt water fishing in coastal NC. My fiancée booked Strike Charter for a birthday surprise for myself and her and it was nothing shy of a blast. We caught a variety of species from tarpon to red drum and even a small shark! We are both looking forward to booking with Strike Charter again soon!

Half day trip with Captain Drew Tyndall.

Four fishing friends went on a half day fishing trip with Captain Drew.  We had great weather, great friends and a great guide.  Captain Drew knows these waters, knows the fish seasons and knows what bait to throw at them so you are on fish from start to finish.  Definitely recommend booking Captain Drew Tyndall as soon as you can because he is in demand.  You will be glad you did.

My wife, father-in-law, and myself booked a morning charter while on vacation is Wrightsville. We had an awesome time. Capt. Drew had us on fish throughout the day and had the opportunity to pick his brain about locating fish and bait throughout the trip. I would recommend his charter to anyone from beginner to experienced. Never a bad day on the water, but can’t beat limiting out on slot reds. We boated a wide variety of fish and had our fair share of misses. Would absolutely book another trip with Capt. Drew anytime. Also side note, his boat handles extremely well even in some heavier chop in the sound. Thoroughly impressed.

Drew was a great guide! very knowledgeable of the area, the fish and put us on multiple spots where we were able to catch! he even saved a sea turtle on our way back home who was stuck on sea debris. We had a great time and would recommend! Can’t wait to come bqck next year
