Op zoek naar een betaalbare trip voor 3 of minder personen in de Finger Lakes regio? Boek dan een datum of stuur me een bericht om het water op te gaan. Ik heb meer dan 30 jaar lokale viservaring en kijk ernaar uit om het water met je te delen en je op wat vis te krijgen terwijl we een leuke tijd hebben.

Ik ben een fervent voorstander van het idee dat geld geen belemmering mag zijn om het water op te gaan en een leuke tijd te hebben, dit is terug te zien in mijn prijzen.

Enthousiast om een lijn uit te werpen in de Finger Lakes regio en delen van Lake Ontario? Fish Pimpin Guide Service is je ticket! Met Kapitein Steven aan het roer ben je in deskundige en ervaren handen. Hij is een volledig gediplomeerd en verzekerd Master Captain.

Amerikaanse Meerforel, Forel, Atlantische Zalm, Coho Zalm, Chinook Zalm, Amerikaanse Gele Baars en meer bewonen deze wateren, afhankelijk van wanneer je gaat. Je kunt verwachten wat te spinvissen, of misschien iets meer gespecialiseerds in dit gebied zoals jiggen. Sorry, geen trollen of planner boards, geen baarsvissen.

Je boot voor de dag is een 2022 18' Lund Alaskan tiller met ruimte voor 3 passagiers. Het heeft alles wat je nodig hebt voor een productieve dag op het water. Je schipper zal hengels en molens verstrekken.

Voordat je aan boord komt, is het noodzakelijk om een lokale visvergunning te kopen voor iedereen in je groep. Deze informatie is meestal online beschikbaar, of je kunt het de schipper vragen.

Een paar items om mee te nemen zijn zonnebrandcrème (niet-spray), een hoed, flessenwater en een zonnebril. Alcohol is toegestaan in matige hoeveelheden. Neem een koelbox mee om in je voertuig achter te laten als je van plan bent vis te houden, ik zorg voor het ijs. Vis schoonmaken is zoals altijd gratis.

Great Charter with an excellent Captain!

4 Hour Trip – Lake Trout/Perch op September 16, 2025 • 2 volwassenen

My wife and I booked a charter on Cayuga Lake with Captain Steve and had an incredible experience. We were visiting for the week and wanted to target some of the local species—especially lake trout. Within minutes of dropping our first line, we were already catching fish!

We’ve been on charters all over the country, and I would easily place Captain Steve in the top 5%. His knowledge of the lake and the fishery was outstanding, and he was attentive to every detail—right down to letting us choose between spinning or baitcasting gear. He’s patient, an excellent coach, and clearly passionate about what he does.

The boat, an 18-foot Lund, was comfortable and perfectly suited for this style of fishing. From the very start, it was obvious how much Captain Steve loves his work, and that energy carried through the entire day.

Highly recommended!

The fact that not a single fish was caught, but that I would book with Captain Steven should speak volumes of the positive experience that he provided. The weather was surprisingly miserable, windy and cold for the end of August, but Captain Steven still provided an amazing time; especially so with my 13yo son. He took the time to answer all of his questions (of which there were many) and really tried his best to make things happen, but it just wasn't our day. Regardless, I was thrilled at the lessons that he was able to provide to my son and we had a great time on the lake nonetheless. I HIGHLY recommend booking with him if you are looking to have a great experience on the lake.

It sure was some miserable weather that day. Even thought the weather and fishing were a challenge; being able to share knowledge and get your dog and family out made it a very good day in my book.

Awesome fishing trip

4 Hour Trip – Lake Trout/Perch op August 5, 2025 • 2 volwassenen

Drove up from Kentucky to catch perch and lake trout.  Lost count of the perch and caught a good size lake trout.  All due to great guide services. I would and will be recommending to everyone I know.  

Steven was very knowledgeable, having 25 years of experience fishing the finger lakes. He taught technical fishing and tackle, how to target each species, and helped me understand the fish finder better ( I just bought my own and I’m learning it.)

Boat was nice, clean and well stocked with tackle, water and soda if needed.  Steven was welcoming, friendly and great guide and teacher.   Book him for a great trip!

My son and I traveled from MD to Cayuga lake near Ithaca to fish before we headed over to Cooperstown for a baseball tournament.  Our experience was top notch with Fish Pimpin Guide Service.  We fished a 4 hr trip and were fishing the entire time, the boat was perfect to fish any and everywhere and was comfortable to sit and cast or stand and move around.  Steven was super knowledgeable and gave us a lot of good tips and tricks for fishing the finger lakes.  We had a great day on the water targeting trout and perch.   We hope to book future trips with him on our return trips to the region to fish.
