Welkom bij Good Times Fishing Co., ons familiecharterbedrijf, waar we gespecialiseerd zijn in het creëren van onvergetelijke ervaringen op het water. Als gediplomeerd schipper en gepassioneerd visser ben ik, Perry, enthousiast om mijn liefde voor vissen te delen met klanten van alle leeftijden.
Samen met mijn 17-jarige zoon en eerste maat, JP, die al vis vangt sinds hij twee jaar oud was en een fervent visliefhebber is, bieden we een gezinsvriendelijke sfeer die ons onderscheidt van de concurrentie. Hoewel we ons specifiek richten op gezinnen, verwelkomen we alle soorten visliefhebbers die op zoek zijn naar een leuke dag op het water.
Onze chartertrips richten zich op inshore en vissen nabij de kust, met vertrek vanuit het prachtige Little River, SC. We vangen verschillende soorten, waaronder Red Drum, Amerikaanse Bot, Trout, haaien, Zeebaars, Knorrepos en Wijting.
Elke trip is ontworpen om een plezierig uitje te bieden voor u en uw bemanning. De afgelopen 6 jaar heeft ons gezin de zomermaanden in Little River doorgebracht met vissen, surfen en het zoute leven leiden. En nu hebben we besloten om de liefde voor het buitenleven met u te delen en u te helpen op avontuur te gaan.

"I couldn't have asked for a better first time fishing experience. From the moment we stepped on the boat, Captain Perry and First Mate KP made us feel welcome and at ease. It was a perfect day on the water with our boys, where we not only caught a lot of fish but also learned so much about the local marine life. KP's knowledge was impressive and his respectful demeanor made him a pleasure to be around. Captain Perry's friendly nature and warm personality made the whole trip feel less like a charter and more like a day out with good friends. This father-son team is truly a special find. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a top-notch fishing adventure."

We were super impressed with everyone’s eagerness to learn and I can’t tell you just how stoked I am for you to learn that tricky flounder bite in such a short time!!

When can we go again?!
4 Hour Trip – Morning op July 10, 2025 • 4 volwassenen • 2 kinderen
This was SUCH a great time. Capt Perry and JP were phenomenal. They were so warm and friendly. JP is the best first mate I’ve ever met. He was quick with rebaiting hooks, finding great spots and the best part, he was GREAT with our 7-8 year old girls. He would tell them all the things, he would let them reel in the “big one”. On the ride back he sat with my daughter and showed her nest on the pylon, the ship wreck boat over there, etc.
Capt Perry was fantastic too! He was great with the kids and showing them the parts of the fish and teaching them about the fish etc.
Lastly, both were friendly and professional. Always asking what we wanted to do but then also giving me updates and suggestions to make the most of our trip. He stayed in touch through out the whole planning process as well as trip itself. Time flew by, we have so much fun.
I can’t wait to book again.
We did near shore/inshore. They had all the equipment needed and all the varieties of bait. We went out for 4 hours in the morning. 4 adults and two 7-8 year old girls. Variety of experience amongst us all (none of us experts tho)

We had such a great day on the water. The girls did awesome and the icing on the cake was the expression of grit and accomplishment on your daughters face as she was fighting that big ray! What an experience!

4 Hour Trip – Mid Day op June 24, 2025 • 2 volwassenen • 3 kinderen
This charter was exactly what we hoped for!!! My wife and I, along with our 3 kids (ages 12,10,7) were on vacation and decided to go out fishing. Our goal was to make some new memories and catch some fish. . . and that's precisely what we did! After meeting Captain Perry and his first mate, JP, we knew this was the right charter. They were both friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Captain Perry started the charter with a prayer. He was very pleasant to talk to and quite informative. After about 90 minutes in the 90+ degree heat, my kids started to wilt. The Captain offered several alternatives --- and we chose to pull over and get out on the beach to cool off. JP cast his net several times in the shallow water to catch mullet and the kids had a blast picking the fish off the sand and placing them in a bucket. It was actually their favorite part of our day. We were successful at catching bigger fish as well! We caught a couple sharks (which was our goal) and we got to keep our flounder (which JP expertly filleted). I highly recommend this charter - the Captain and first mate really strive to provide the very best experience possible! Even if we had caught nothing - I know this still would have been a pleasant and positive experience because of these 2 gentlemen.

The Best Day on the Water!

We went out on a half-day charter with Good Times Fishing Co., and I honestly can’t say enough good things. It was me and my three girls (15, 13, and 12) — none of them are really into fishing — but Captain Perry and JP made it such a fun, relaxed day. They were patient, kind, and just great with the kids. The girls had a blast, learned a ton, and now they can't wait to go again.
You can tell these guys really love what they do, and they know their stuff both fishing and boating. It felt like hanging out with friends who happen to be amazing guides. This trip meant a lot to us, and we’ve already decided it’s going to be a yearly tradition.
If you’re thinking about booking a charter, don’t hesitate just go with Good Times Fishing Co. You’ll have an awesome time with great people

The best

Was nervous about using this app because I just didn’t know. This is my sixth chartered boat trip and by far the best! JP just has a gift and I love the way Perry honors his son’s gift. Such a humble crew that puts you on fish. We were blessed to be with believers and blessed to be on the water. That is worth the money alone! Catching my very first flounder sealed the deal! If we are back down this way next year, then we are doing this again and I am seasoning my filets as I compose this. This was so awesome!
