Breng de dag door met Let's Hook Up Fishing Charters en laat hen je laten zien wat het vissen in Geneva-on-the-Lake zo onvergetelijk maakt! Schipper Donny zal je gids zijn en brengt jarenlange lokale ervaring mee aan boord.

Breedbekbaars, Regenboogforel (Steelhead), Amerikaanse Gele Baars en meer zijn te vinden in deze wateren, afhankelijk van het seizoen. Voor deze soorten ga je waarschijnlijk trollen met licht materiaal.

Als je met het gezin reist, zul je blij zijn te weten dat kinderen welkom zijn aan boord! Kinderen moeten zwemvesten dragen, dus vraag na of de juiste maat aan boord beschikbaar is. Snacks zijn toegestaan aan boord — neem je favorieten mee zodat niemand chagrijnig wordt met een lege maag!

Je gaat vissen vanaf een 24' Wellcraft walkaround met ruimte voor 6 passagiers. Het schip is uitgerust met alle benodigdheden die een vismachine nodig heeft. Hengels, molens en materiaal liggen voor je klaar, evenals kunstaas. Levend aas is beschikbaar, maar vraag er zeker naar zodat je weet of je het zelf moet vangen.

Voordat je aan boord komt, moet je een lokale visvergunning kopen voor iedereen in je groep. Deze informatie is meestal online beschikbaar, of je kunt het aan de schipper vragen. Sommige soorten kunnen verboden zijn of een speciale vergunning vereisen, dus zorg ervoor dat je weet wat je kunt verwachten.

Het is nooit een slecht idee om een zonnebril en zonnebrandcrème (geen spray) mee te nemen. Drankjes zijn inbegrepen, gratis. Alcohol is toegestaan in matige hoeveelheden, zorg er alleen voor dat je sterke drank en glazen flessen vermijdt.

Great Day on the Lake

My son and I went out for our first chartered trip and had a great experience with Let's Hook Up Fishing Charters. Captain Donny was very proactive in communicating with us and happily answered any questions we had. He really made an effort to ensure that the trip was what we wanted. He knew right where to put us on the fish but he didn't try to rush us to limit out and hurry back to the dock. Instead, he gave us plenty of time to move at our own pace and really enjoy the day. If you're looking for a charter on Lake Erie, I'd highly recommend Let's Hook Up!

This Captain was AWESOME!!!

This was my first experience with a charter fishing boat. Captain Don was absolutely amazing. He made sure we found a day that the waves were not too high. He took us to his favorite hot spots and we caught great walleye. The fish averaged about 22” long. He was very generous about how long it took us to catch the best walleye. This captain is the best I could ever imagine. if I could rate him higher, it would be an absolute 10. i will recommend him to whoever I can. Thanks Don for an AWESOME time.

Hey guys, thanks for the review. I really enjoyed taking you  guys out. You two were a lot of fun and picked up very quickly on the do's and do not's of getting a fish to the boat. I'll be looking forward to seeing again in the future.

This trip was a father's day gift from myself and our children for my husband! The Captain, Donny, was amazing from start to finish! Communication was easy and frequent when necessary. Accommodating when we had to change our trip date. Overall pleasant and friendly, helpful and welcoming! My husband's smile after the trip said it all! My mother-in-law enjoyed herself as well. This was their first charter experience and they both will be returning to book with Let's Hook Up again!

The trip was amazing. My boy and I went and had a great time. The captain was very personable and shared different fishing techniques. Great conversation. He took time to try to catch a steelhead on our way in. Our time was already up, but he really wanted to see if one would bite. It was a long shot, due to the time of year, but he took the time to do it. I appreciated it. Thank you for a great trip. We are planning on another trip for 2026.

Got our limit of beautiful walleyes

We fished with Captain Donny on 6/12/25 and had a great time. Donny is a knowledgeable fisherman, as we limited out with a bounty of nice walleyes. He tried a few different baits until we found the right combination for this particular day. We averaged 18"-24" with a couple 25-27" and one fish Ohio at 28.5". Im looking forward to the next time we can fish with Captain Donny as we had a great day on the water.We threw many 16-17" fish back.

I had a blast taking John and Justin drift fishing yesterday. The bite started out a little slower than usual with a steady northeast wind but we made a few adjustments and it was game on. They're great guys to have onboard and I'm looking forward to taking them out again. Tight lines guys!
