We booked a 3-hour nearshore charter with Captain Chris and it exceeded every expectation. He took us to three different spots and the fish were biting nonstop — we easily caught over 20 fish, including triggerfish, red snapper, red grouper, mingo snapper, sea bass, and more. The kids were having the time of their lives, sometimes reeling in two fish at a time! What really made the trip was Chris himself. He was encouraging, patient with the kids, and kept the energy fun the whole time. We even brought home mingo snappers and a beautiful red grouper. Had a great trip with Captain Chris. Ended up being just 4 of us which was a good number to spread out. We asked for a trip to catch red snapper for catch and cook and to target bigger fish. He worked hard for us and we caught several legal reds and 3 grouper and threw back countless triggerfish. Chris IS THE BEST!! We came home with 38 total fish, 2 short of our 4 man limit. Caught well over 125+ on our 5 hour charter. It was just after a cold front on a day when the chop was rough. He navigated the water effectively and put us on fish the whole trip. Can’t say enough great things about Chris and his services

Captain Chris did a great job on a beautiful day on the water. Caught plenty of snapper on our first stop with everyone constantly reeling in fish, then moved out to look for bigger fish our boys wanted to hunt for. Found bigger fish including a redfish that had my 11 year as pumped as he ever been, and a bunch of grouper for the kids to fight. Captain was great with the kids, and even my 7 year old that didn't want to get up in the morning said it was the best part of our trip. Brought back enough to feed a house full of 30 for a seafood boil and stories my kids will tell anyone who will listen.

I booked this charter based on other reviews. Captain Chris did not let us down! Our three hour excursion was perfect for two kids (9 and 7) who have never been fishing. Chris had us on fish constantly from the first line we dropped in the water. He offered plenty of encouragement to my son. If things slowed down for a moment he had us move to another spot with more action. The kids loved the variety of fish we pulled up from gray triggerfish, snapper, squirrelfish, and porgy. We had a motor malfunction as we tried to move to one last spot for the day. That cut the day a little short, but these things happen from time to time. The kids had a blast…and that is what matters most! They can’t wait to go again! Thanks Captain Chris!
