Reel A Salt 

Rough few days here in the keys for fishing due to the crazy current but Captain Larson did his best to get us hooked on, we went to a few good shipwrecks around and like I said it was hard to get hooked up because of the current but he still managed to get us hooked onto barracuda a few times and get a massive Goliath Grouper hit. At the end of the day we threw a big bait out and played tug of war with some lemon sharks (never had that chance on a charter before). Then at the very end of the day we doubled up and were able to bring in two lemon sharks. Good experience overall considering the conditions. Thanks Captain Larson.

I love to go fishing. When I was a kid, my father would take my brother and I fishing. They were some of the most memorable times of my young life. I now have three sons of my own that I’ve taken fishing when they were young. They are older now, in their 20s. we decided to take a trip to Key West to do some fishing. Well,… We managed to hook up with Captain Zack a board real easy charters at hurricane hole marina in Key West. I am so glad we did! I can’t say enough about his knowledge about all aspects of fishing, his expertise of handling a boat, and just great person to be around. My sons all enjoyed his company as well. He just made the whole experience on the water exceptional. My “three sons”, which by the way I named my own boat, (I did not have any girls), had the time of their life. We plan on spending more time on the water with captain Zack, and I highly recommend it to you as well !!!

Had a great time fishing with Captain David! A four hour night trip where we went after Snappers, Barracudas, and Tarpon. Had a blast catching fish with a friendly captain who was very flexible.

Awesome day on the water! Conditions were not in our favor coming off a giant full moon. We managed to pick at em pretty good. Capt. Morgan was very intentive to what species we wanted to target and did a great job putting us in the fish. We caught mutton and mangrove snapper and some mahi mahi. Yes the tax man got his share a couple of times during the day but that's fishing. I can only say that Boss man Cappy John Jackson and his crew provide a stellar fishing operation! Best Regards

SET YOUR DIRECTIONS TO HURRICANE HOLE MARINA AND NOT THE ONE ON THE SITE Captain Steve was awesome. My step daughter has never been fishing and it was her second time on a boat. She had a fantastic time and that was the most important thing for me. We had so much fun catching fish I forgot to take pictures of our day but the fish tacos we made after our trip were really yummy. Steve was helpful with making sure we caught good eating fish. He was affable, pleasant, very knowledgeable about the area and you can tell he enjoys his job. He took us to some very beautiful spots, which, again, we were too busy catching fish to take pictures of. I've been on a lot of charters and this was one of the best experiences I've had. He never acted like our novice questions and skills were a burden. I'm really happy this company was the first that came up in my search.

Captain Steven made this trip absolutely amazing!! He is so knowledgeable and he works so hard to make the trip successful and fun! He interacts with everyone, no matter your age! He shared so much knowledge, very patient, and takes great pride in his work. We had the best time on this trip, we could not have asked for a better Captain. Captain Steven is truly the best, and we will definitely come back, and request him. On a scale of 10, both of my kids (teenagers) said it was a 10 PLUS, thanks to Captain Steven! Thank you Captain Steven for everything- we had the best time and we enjoyed our fresh fish for lunch! Delicious!

This Fishing trip was really amazing. I took my two boys (11 & 9) and my nephew (16) out with me. Captain Stephen was really cool with the kids. the boys sometimes seemed more interested in the playing with the small fish we picked up for bait than actually fishing, but when we started hooking and reeling, they got into it. I will be honest, I was a little disappointed we didn't catch any shark, but the big highlight was wrangling in the Barracuda. We will definitely be coming back here to Reel A Salt for our next fishing adventure. without a doubt, we will be requesting captain Stephen to take us out. Thanks.

Did a Half day trip with Captain David, started off casting for Barracuda, extremely cool. Then we ended up fishing this ship wreck with live bait and started hammering the Yellow Jack. Made my whole trip, Captain David was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do for us to catch fish and have a good time. I brought my wife with me as well and she’s never been fishing before and Captain David showed her the ropes and was nothing but a gentlemen to her the whole time. He then cleaned a Yellow Jack for us to eat after fishing and it was some of the best fish I’ve ever had. I HIGHLY recommend fishing with Reel Easy Charters and Captain David!

Listen Up Ladies & Gents, Captn Hugh asked me what I had in mind for the day. I told him that I have never caught a Tarpon, 15 minutes later not only did I have a Tarpon but I had a 100lb tarpon. He then asked me what else did I want to catch, I told him that I would like to catch a Mahi-Mahi for dinner, 15 minutes later we had several. He asked me did I have anything else on my bucket list and I said “What the hell, let’s go for a shark”, 45 minutes later we were knee deep catching groupers, mangrove snappers , Cuda’s and I got my shark. I will be back in a couple weeks. THIS IS MY OFFICIAL CHARTER AND HE IS MY LIFETIME CAPTN! THE END

Had a great time with Reel A Salt and Captain Hugh. Hugh was extremely knowledgeable of the waters, hard working and got us into some great (and delicious) fish. Would recommend this charter for any anglers visiting key west looking for a top notch experience.
