Had a great day out on the water fishing for halibut and striper with Captain Dave and his first mate Arron. This was our third time going out with them, and they continue to deliver an awesome experience every time. From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole trip easy and enjoyable. We ended up landing some really nice halibut, and there was steady action throughout the day. Dave clearly knows where to go and how to put you on fish, and Arron was always right there to help, whether it was setting up gear or making sure everything ran smoothly. Captain David and his sidekick Aaron were simply THE BEST. We had a wonderful outing with them. They were soooo helpful in teaching us how to fish properly. They were patient, kind and super supportive. They took us all over the bay to ensure that we caught as many fish as we could. Then, they filleted the fish for us at the end. Cannot recommend them highly enough! THANK YOU! We had such a special day today.

We had a blast on Captain Rooney's Charter despite our slow start to catching fish. Captain Rooney was very knowledgeable about the various strategies used to catch halibut and in the end, it paid off. We caught more than enough halibut to feed 6+ people! His kindness and enthusiasm for fishing made the time in between hooking a fish fly by. Would book again!

Brought my husband out for a birthday surprise fishing trip and I could not have chose a better captain than David Rooney!
