Als je de beste viswaters van Georgia wilt bezoeken op zoek naar Forelbaars, Forel, Breedbekbaars, Baars en meer, dan is Reel Time Charters de naam om te onthouden. Gevestigd in Mount Airy, GA, nemen ze je mee naar de beste meren en beken van de regio op zoek naar al deze vissen en nog veel meer.

Schipper Richard Allen begon met het aanbieden van charters om zijn liefde voor zijn geboortewaters met zoveel mogelijk mensen te delen. Laat hem je laten zien hoe goed het vissen hier is – je moet het zien om het te geloven!

Je gaat vissen aan boord van een 20' Glassmaster center console. Gebouwd in 2012, wordt ze aangedreven door een 150 PK Yamaha buitenboordmotor. Ze is zeker geen slome duikelaar. Ze is uitgerust met GPS en fishfinder om de favoriete plekken van schipper Richard te lokaliseren en de grootste vissen in de buurt op te sporen. Ze heeft ook een trollingmotor om je ongemerkt naar schichtige vissen te laten sluipen.

Afhankelijk van wanneer je op bezoek komt, kun je vissen op alles van Amerikaanse Zonnebaars en Forelbaars tot Regenboogforel en Amerikaanse Meerforel. Met zo'n verscheidenheid aan soorten heb je een breed scala aan materiaal nodig om het meeste uit je dag te halen. Dat is precies wat je krijgt, met zowel licht als zwaar materiaal en de mogelijkheid om de hele dag te trollen, te spinvissen, te poppen, te jiggen en te bodemvissen.

Alle trips van Reel Time Charters zijn inclusief hengels, molens, levend aas en kunstaas – alles wat je nodig hebt voor een dag vissen. Neem gewoon je visvergunning mee en voldoende eten en drinken en stap aan boord voor een geweldige dag op het water!

An Unforgettable Father & Son Fishing Adventure

From the moment we embarked on our fishing trip with Captain Rick and Reel Time Charters, we knew we were in for a treat. Our primary goal was to ensure my son had an unforgettable experience catching fish of a considerable size, and Captain Rick delivered exactly that, exceeding our expectations.

We set sail on Lake Hartwell, a location suggested by Captain Rick himself. His knowledge of the lake and its aquatic life proved invaluable, as it was teeming with fish and offered a rewarding fishing experience.

Captain Rick was not just a guide, but an excellent mentor. He took the time to explain our fishing locations and the reasons behind his choices, providing us with a deeper understanding of the sport. His expertise extended to the use of live bait and lures, which he explained with great patience and clarity.

The trip was not just about fishing. The beautiful scenery of Lake Hartwell, coupled with the fantastic weather, added to the overall enjoyment of our adventure. The highlight, however, was undoubtedly the sight of my son reeling in big fish, his excitement palpable.

We are already looking forward to our next fishing adventure with Captain Rick. His expertise, patience, and friendly demeanor have made us yearn for more guided fishing time. We eagerly anticipate our return in the fall or spring for another round of unforgettable fishing experiences!

Capt. Rick knew his lake and was able to put us on fish.  He listened to me and the way I fished.  Then, he had me try other methods and was patient.  The lake we went on , Lake Burton,  was a gorgeous spot and I enjoyed it.  Rick took pictures of the fish we caught and sent them to me in a text.  All in all, Avery enjoyable trip

What an awesome day!!!  The weather was perfect, the fish were biting, and Captain Rick was fantastic!  If you’re looking for a great time and beautiful water (we went to Lake Hartwell), call Fishing Booker and ask for a trip with Captain Rick.  You will not be disappointed…we’ll be back!!!

My 10yo son and I went fishing Halloween with Capt Rick.  We tried a few different techniques and all hooked and landed fish.  The bite was hot in the morning but the wind made it tough to cast accurately so we abandoned a hot spot probably earlier than our Captain would have.  Also, we all occasionally hooked ‘stick fish’ but my son was very good about about hooking branches,etc so we spent a lot of time unsnagging lines.  Capt Rick was very good about tolerating this and answering the thousand questions my son asked about fish, the fish finder, the depth gauge, etc.  I would have liked to catch more personally (who doesn’t say that about fishing) but I got 4 or five good bites that I didn’t set the hook on.  We finished the day with two largemouth bass, one 17” and one almost 19” and two spotted bass about 13 inches each,  and with more than a  pound of meat in fillets for dinner.  And he let us fish seven hours even though it was supposed to be for 5.
