What a great experience! Rubio sport fishing did not disappoint. The communication was timely and our captain, Jesus, worked really hard to put us on some fish. The week that we were there was slow for everyone, considering it was Dorado season. Jesus kept switching things up and stayed on the radio when necessary to ensure that we were able to get what we came for. Overall, we caught 7, three Dorado that yielded two keepers! The fish were vacuum, sealed, and delivered to us on the dock within 30 minutes. We couldn’t have asked for a better day and experience! I highly recommend Rubio Sport Fishing and cant wait to go back!

Our captain Alfredo Rubio was awesome and very engaging. It was my 12-year-old son’s first time, and he caught a Sail Fish (released), 2 12-pound white fish and ....... a 25 lb. Yellow Tail which was delicious after Alfredo filleted it for us. 5 hrs. later we were having ceviche and grilling fillets. This was a great trip, and I recommend it for anyone and heading out a 6 am was a treat watching the sun rise as we heading 25 miles off the coast of Loreto. Thank you again Alfredo!!! Bendiciones…

Our fishing trip was exactly what I paid for. Since it was my first time fishing in Loreto, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. I simply told them we wanted to catch fish and that we were happy to target whatever was biting that day.

They put us right on the fish, and we had an awesome time. Everything that was discussed beforehand was exactly how it went. They were incredibly easy to get ahold of before the trip, answered all of my questions, and made the whole experience simple—just show up, fish, and take home what we wanted to keep.

I really appreciate when things go exactly as planned, especially with a new experience in a new place. I would definitely book with them again the next time I’m in Loreto. Highly recommend!

Had an amazing fishing trip! The captain was fantastic—super knowledgeable, patient, and made the whole experience fun from start to finish. You can tell he really knows the water and wants everyone to have a great time.

The business owner was just as impressive—very responsive, easy to work with, and went above and beyond. He even personally delivered the fish we caught right to our hotel, which was such a great touch and made the whole trip even more memorable.

We went twice with Rubios on a recent trip to Loreto. Opted for their 7 hour all inclusive trip.  The trips were about seven days apart. The first day was calm and we travelled some 25 miles to fish for yellow tails. Our captain didn’t try to communicate with us much. His constant smoking was also very irritating for non smokers. We used the same technic all day with limited success two bites landing one fish. A boat beside us using multiple rods did quite well. January fishing in Loreto is not that good so your expectations should not be that high.
Or second trip Alfredo the manager move our trip ahead a couple of because of forecasted windy conditions. We arrived at 6:15 and they were ready to go but Alfredo said there was no live bait available today and suggested we could go the next day. I was very impressed so we went the next day. We had a different captain Carlos and bait. The weather was windy and getting out 25 miles was not feasible. Carlos was great talked fair English was funny and knows the area well. We each had our own rod in hand which was good. We landed 3 smaller yellow tails lost a couple and caught some other smaller fish. We had a great day on the water with Carlos and highly recommend him. Alfredo met us at the dock took our fish cleaned vacuumed sealed and delivered them where we were staying within an hour!
Very impressed with Carlos and Alfredo and definitely would use there service again.
