The 2026 season is officially underway, and Southeast Alaska made sure to give us a classic, rainy Ketchikan welcome for our very first charter of the year on May 21st!
We had an incredible crew on board for a truly special trip—three generations of family fishing together, including a grandfather, father, and an awesome 7-year-old angler who showed us how it’s done.
Even with the gray skies and a bit of wind, this crew didn’t skip a beat. We definitely had to work for them, but we managed to find the fish and safely released 16 different Rockfish using our conservation release device!
To cap off a perfect day, we even got some spectacular eagle action right by the boat to finish the trip in true Alaskan style.
Huge thanks to this awesome family for kicking off our season with the best energy.
