Começaremos o nosso dia no Lago Okeechobee, onde iremos travar uma luta com enormes achigãs-de-boca-grande na área de Belle Glade. Esta é uma das melhores pescarias de achigã do estado, e não poderia escolher um lugar mais bonito para o fazer.
Carregamos o barco por volta das 10h ou 11h, viajamos para leste até ao Lago Osborne, e voltamos a pescar em busca do combativo tucunaré e do peixe-faca-palhaço. É um dia longo e repleto de ação variada!

We only had a couple hours to fish because of the weather and it felt like we were bring bass in the boat non stop. Captain John has a wealth of knowledge that even experienced anglers can learn from. Highly recommend!

Split Day - 10 Hour Trip em março 20, 2025 • 3 adultosWords cannot describe how amazing our ten hour fishing trip was with captain Justin ! We caught close to 30 fish. We caught big, healthy, aggressive largemouth bass. We also caught a few other species as well. Many personal best catches were landed on this trip thanks to captain Justin. He was a funny, cool, helpful guide. The best bass was 8.5lbs, it was a big one ! Many others were 5-6lbs. I would highly recommend getting live bait.

Me and my friend caught over 60 fish including largemouth bass, cichlids, peacocks & Oscars. John knew all the spots, what to use, and gave us tons of tips, #1 being don't shake a bloody fish over the edge of the boat with alligators around! You will see lots of gators but you don't have to worry at all. They swim away from the boats. If I ever make it back down to South Florida, I will be using his services again!

Split Day - 10 Hour Trip em agosto 9, 2025 • 2 adultosCaptain Cody ensured my son's wish to fish Okeechobee and land Peacock Bass all in one day. Super tough bite on Okeechobee but more than made up for it with 15+ good Peacocks, Chiclid and even a Snake head in the afternoon. Great guy to spend the day with and laughed a lot. Great day. Great experience.

The first cast of the first day my brother lands a 7.5lb monster! (Monster for us) we caught bass both days and had a blast! Cpt John, the boat, gear, everything was top not professional. He was really knowledgeable and taught a so much about fishing lake Okeechobee. We are already planning another trip for September. Can’t wait!!

We went for peacock bass instead of large mouth because the fishing was better. I took my uncle with me and he had a great time. He is 83 years old and John helped him with everything. Boat was extremely nice, organized and clean. I have an influential channel the Fishy Camper on YouTube and I learned a lot on this trip. He explained each species that we caught. I highly recommend Captain John if you are in the area and want a memorial experience.

I'm probably a tough grader. My day on Okeechobee with John Larsen was great! John is a fine fisherman and a pleasure to spend time with. He knows the lake and kept us safely and comfortably out of the high winds and roughest water all day. Between the two of us, we landed about 10 mid-size bass over 6 hours on the water, all on artifical lures. Ideally, we would have been on the fish more and had a more productive day, but I don't blame John for this. I will definitely hire John on my next trip to Okeechobee (if I can -- he's pretty heavily booked up) and would highly recommend him to anyone who takes their fishing seriously.
Thank you for taking the time to provide this feedback and leaving this recommendation. I wish every day could be a big number of catches, and all big fish, it just does not happen like that. We worked hard, especially with artificial lures to get on them and the biggest ones possible. I am glad you had a great time and look forward to fishing with you again in the future. Till next time!
We had a great time. Trip got cut a little short because of weather; but our giude Justin, was on it and got us on to some nice bass. we had a great time and would definitely go out on the water with Justin again.

Capt Mark did his best to put us on fish after the cold front came through. Only caught a couple but not from lack of trying. Mark was very knowledgeable and pulled out all the stops to try and make it a good day.
