day agter storms. late in the season. shrimp were gone from the area spawning, so there wasnt much biting. wind was very high and didnt stop. i caught a trout and flounder. he was real good with my grand son. got him hooked on a shark and sea cat. ive worked with tony before and tore up the keeper trout. ill be back when the reds are running

This trip had a couple of things going against it: high temperatures and high tide. When we headed out we were about an hour or two away from peak tide conditions, and the waters were moving fairly quickly. Also, the temperature was in the mid 70s when we got in the boat. Hey, it’s Georgia in the summertime…that’s just how it is. All that notwithstanding, Captain Tony was GREAT! He did everything possible to put us on the fish. I missed a hook set at the first spot, so that one was on me. Even with conditions battling us and the fish not being hungry, my daughter and I both caught fish and had a good time doing so. We also saw unexpected wildlife (hogs on a fishing trip? Didn’t see that coming) and learned a lot about inshore fishing today. Thank you Tony! Can’t wait to get some payback on those reds next time! Unfortunately, no fish. However, I'll not fault Tony for that. We picked a bad day - right after a full moon. We tried everything! Bigger water, remote creeks, live shrimp, bottom fishing, dead shrimp unpeeled, with corks, dead shrimp unpeeled. One small ray and a few nibbles. Windy day. Tony burned a helluva lot of gas and energy trying to make something happen. In the end, it was a beautiful day to be out! Saw great parts of Ossobaw and St Catherine's. Kids got to improve casting skills and demonstrate impeccable patience! Would hire Tony again in a heartbeat! You should too!

We reserved a full day of fishing with Captain Tony. This was our first time fishing the area and also first fishing experience for local saltwater species. Although weather, tide, and time of year made for a tough bite Captain Tony did not disappoint with his extensive knowledge and experience of the area and managed to put us on fish and we ended up with a good variety to take home to the dinner table. It doesn’t get much better than that! Captain Tony was more than kind and patient and was more than happy to answer any and all questions we asked. One of the easiest guys to talk to, we shared laughs and stories like we were old time friends. His equipment is top notch and he takes pride in what he does. We will be returning hopefully when the bite is at its peak in hopes of landing a 10+ pounder redfish and we hope to have Captain Tony leading us to them! Thanks again for the experience! We had a great time with Captain Tony. He actually called us before we launched to forewarn us about the tough conditions we were about to face (which was awesome of him) but we braved the spring tide mixed with choppy waters from the hurricane. We didn’t catch much but he made it such a fun and enjoyable experience, we didn’t care at all! He knew the waters like a road map and we saw some incredible wildlife and scenery. I’d absolutely recommend booking with Captain Tony to anyone. He really made our day!!

My wife and I really enjoyed our full day trip with Captain Tony. We started out a little before 8:00 and finished close to 4:00. The boat was comfortable for three people and appeared to be well maintained . The fishing equipment was in very good working order even for folks like me who can reel from either side. We caught several species of fish including Trout, Crocker and Bonnethead Shark. and a couple other species. Heck we even caught a good size Blue Crab that I thought wasn't going to let go. We had a lot of bites, enough to go through most of the bait. Finishing out the trip our trout was filleted, and thats whats for dinner tonight. I will make plans for another trip in the coming months and will hopefully book again with Captain Tony.

I’ve been on a few charters with other companies and I can say this one was the funnest and most educational trip thus far! Not only did we learn a lot fishing but captain Tony knows the fish! He put us right on some great trout including a nice 18.5 inch gator trout! Most importantly we had some good laughs and great memories! If you want to get put on fish Tony the man for the job! We’re coming back to hunt down those redfish!!!
