You'll be fishing aboard a 30' Parker boat that accommodates up to 6 guests. She's powered by 2 /250 Honda engines and has all navigational electronics you need to easily find the schools of fish.
The team starts working several hours before your trip begins. They make a stash of freshly caught herring, mullet, or bunker that you'll use as live bait. All of this pays off in the end, when you land a trophy Striper! You can also target Tautog, Bluefish, Bluefin Tuna, and Black Seabass. The best part is – your catch is yours to keep after the trip. If you're saving it for later, don't forget to bring a cooler.
The captain will provide you with Penn, Shimano, and Daiwa rods and reels. If you're an avid fly fisherman, you can also use fly fishing equipment. Your fishing license is covered and the crew will also prepare snacks and drinks.

I always appreciate when a captain/guide wants to put you on fish and catch them. Vinnie is enthusiastic about getting you in the best position to catch fish and he doesn’t want to waste your time. Trust his knowledge and fish finder skills. Also, pay attention to and appreciate how he catches bait. He’s good at it and the live bait gives you the best chance to catch fish. Vinnie seems to feel successful only when his guests catch fish and have a good time—that’s what you should want in a captain. Our five-person group was a mix of experienced, less experienced, and first-time fishermen. Vinnie specifically accommodated each of us and we all caught fish.
We had an amazing time fishing with Captain Vinnie and First Mate Dwain. Good vibes all around, and we caught some fatty striped bass to take home. They did a great job instructing us on how to reel in the fish, they made sure we caught a nice amount. When I go fishing again, I will make sure to use Karen Ann!

I consistently catch fish fishing with this guy, and I consider him the most knowledgeable of all the guides I've used over the years. He's the best captain I've ever gone fishing with.
