Makin' Waves Fishing Charters – 28' 

Captain Scott & his wife Sarah made our trip a very rememberable experience for our family. Captain and wife were very patient in explaining how to properly reel in a walleye . Our youngest member was having trouble reeling in the long distance catches so Captain Scott made sure when there was a fish on a short line to get him on that pole so he was able to catch fish as well. Everyone caught six plus fish total 36 for our group of six over a period of five hours. We caught all walleye and one rainbow trout.

We went out on the water at 5:30am. It took us 30 minutes to get to the fishing spot and hit our limit within 1 hour and 45 minutes. The captain and first mate worked very hard and we calculated that we were catching 1 fish every 3 minutes. I will definitely do another morning trip next year.

Had a small issue arise in the early morning but crew was willing (as was I) to remedy the situation. Weather was great and ended up having an awesome time fishing with family and friends. Thanks Scott and Travis for a great day on the water and your hospitality.

Our captain had us on the fish within minutes of getting set up. Scott was very nice, knowledgeable.

Captain Mike and Mark made this a great trip! We were celebrating our daughter's birthday because she loves to fish! She caught the biggest fish of the day. I'm not sure who was happier my daughter or Captain Mike! They made this such a smooth trip and explained everything to us. When we got back on land Captain Mike helped us bring our fish over to a guy that cleaned the fish for us. You don't even have to leave to find somewhere to clean the fish for you. It was a great time! Next time we will have to do a full day trip.

We had such a great day on the lake with Scott and Sara. The boat was perfect and we caught our limit of walleye in record time! Highly recommend and will book again when we visit the area.

Scott and Mike did an amazing job getting to the right spot where the fish were, teaching us what we needed to do, and helping us get our limit. They were very polite and answered all of our questions. We booked this trip for our 25th Anniversary and loved every minute of it. So worth every penny. We definitely recommend.
