A Vieira da Baía da Flórida vive em leitos de ervas marinhas em águas com profundidades entre 1 a 3 metros. As vieiras podem ser facilmente encontradas no fundo ou perto dos leitos de ervas marinhas e nos bancos de areia circundantes nos baixios.
A apanha de vieiras pode ser comparada a uma caça aos ovos de Páscoa! Por vezes, as vieiras podem até nadar quando as veem, mas não nadam muito depressa. Fará snorkeling com a ajuda de um guia, mantendo as vieiras encontradas recolhidas num saco de rede. Divirta-se e crie uma memória que nunca irá esquecer!
O barco totalmente equipado é uma embarcação espaçosa com assentos confortáveis, coberto para o proteger do sol. Este barco também tem um rádio offshore, todo o equipamento de segurança necessário, um GPS/sonar a cores, bem como grandes caixas de frio e muito espaço de armazenamento. Este barco é muito potente com motores duplos de 300 cv e proporciona uma viagem muito estável graças ao seu design catamarã.

Horn and his crew were extremely accommodating, full of interesting tid bits of local lore and information about the beautiful Crystal River area, and the boat was perfect for out party. the assisted us with instructions in how to best dive for scallops and cleaned our catch! could not have been better! I will book him again for sure!

Bobby and Alyssa are one of the nicest couples you will ever meet. They work hard to make you feel at home on their well equipped boat. The weather was a little rough but that didn’t stop the 2 of them from trying to put us on fish. They went above and beyond running to different spots to put us on fish. The fish were not biting as much as we hoped it was not for lack of trying. We put a dozen mangroves in the box before heading back to Scallop. They put us on the Scallops…We managed to harvest our 4 gallons fairly quickly. I was a first timer and the two of them showed me what yo look for and I had a ball. Overall and excellent day with a great captain and 1st mate. Can’t wait to fish with them again.

We were a group of 6 women with varying levels of skill and interest and they were accommodating in every situation. We are already trying to figure out when we can get back out on the water :)

We limited and the mate cleaned the catch before we returned to the dock (not a common service for scalloping guides). Sent us home ziplock bags full of fresh scallops. 10/10 will use again.

Super friendly and helpful in getting started, since it was our first time scalloping. Will definitely book with them again and will spreading the word to family members and friends.

Because of the moon phase and high tides we had to move around to avoid current and depth for children. They were accommodating and helped us catch scallops as well. We had a great time! Will definitely do it again.

They are very knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. They provide all the equipment you need, a cooler for snacks and bean bags to chill on while we were on the boat. Can’t wait to cook our fresh catch! Highly recommend :)

Captain Bobby and his first mate Alyssa were amazing! They took us scalloping and made the trip so fun! I felt like they both were super knowledgeable and they genuinely wanted to make sure we had a great time. We will absolutely be booking with them in the future! They had all the gear needed, plenty of ice and water provided.. just all around extremely enjoyable.
