Quer apanhar alguns peixes no Rio Kenai?

We had a blast with Nate. He's really patient, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. The boat and equipment was solid. We caught our limit during a very slow part of the run and then he went the extra mile to get me on a trout! Communication with Nate and Bry was smooth and effortless. If you're looking for a guide who knows their stuff AND is fun to spend an entire day with, this is your guy!
Nate is an expert on the river. All you have to do is show up and catch fish. Nate knows where to go and what they are biting on. He provided everything for a great fishing trip. He had the whole party on Salmon in great time. Along with Salmon we caught Dolly Varden and trout.Experience is a once in a lifetime trip that can be done every year. I would highly recommend this captain. All fishing supplies and and great attitude and smile make this captain and boat a great experience! Thanks for the great trip on the water!

We hired Nate Sims for a Half Day trip for Kings and another one of his guides the next day for a half day trip for sockeye. King fishing has been tough and Nate delivered. He knows the Kenai better than anyone and can get on fish if there are there. He runs a professional business, having great gear and was well prepared. He shows up on time and gets you in the water immediately. He is great with conversation and is a true professional. The next morning we fished for sockeye on the Kasiloff and limited out. It was an awesome experience. Nate has us use a different guide for the Kasiloff as he primarily guides the Kenai and we were quite satisfied with the day and Nate's business operation. Save your time, don't book with anyone else but Nate Sims. You won't regret it.
If you want a great fishing trip, book with Nate! His knowledge of the river and knowledge of fishing in general is second to none. Nate has tons of personality and made the trip exceptionally great. One of the best experiences I’ve had in Alaska without a doubt!

I've known a few fishing guides in my life. Hell I used to be one. Generally they're cut from the same cloth. They're gruff, competent, know enough about the fish to catch them and that's basically it. Nate is a cut above. From his quick smile and easy charm, to his uncanny fish catching abilities he is undoubtedly the best fishing guide I've had the opportunity to utilize.
Nate is one of those guides that's just damn fishy. For whatever reason - be it his work ethic, sheer number of hours spent on the river, or good karma - Nate catches more fish than any other guide on the river. For that, he's got a slue of repeat customers (myself included) who always come back for more. But what makes Nate truly unique, is that he's able to do all this and make sure everyone has a great time. He is personable, contentious, and fun to be around. By the end of your trip you'll have caught your fish and made a friend.

My family and friends have been fortunate enough to fish with Nate several times on the Kenai. Every trip has been great fishing and his ability to always get you on fish is because of his hard work and knowledge of the river. We enjoyed epic days for both kings and sockeyes.

Nate was absolutely fabulous! We started out fishing for sockeye salmon and Nate was so patient teaching us what do do. We started hooking fish right away and Nate’s enthusiasm matched ours. We hooked lots of fish and Nate was so good at netting them. He was always so excited for us each time we got one. After catching our limit of sockeye he took us out trout fishing and I caught the biggest rainbow of my life on a fly rod! I have been on many guided trips but I have never had a better experience than our day fishing with Nate.
Nate is an incredible guide and I am not saying that just because of all the great fishing holes he took me to and all the fish I caught. Nate is a pleasure to spend the day with and always looking out for ways to make the experience the best it can be! Fishing with Nate is absolutely awesome! -Steve
Other guided boats had good success from what I could see on that day on the river and in the boat take out parking lot. Crowded river gravel bars possibly hindered our guide from getting us into better spots, but other drift boats had to deal with that factor. Nonetheless, four experienced fishermen catching a total of four fish on a full day trip was definitely disappointing.
